IMO England have better clubs, la liga is boring af, always barca or rma winning
2017-08-12 22:03
I feel that the clubs in England are too low quality to actually threaten the clubs in most other countries. City are probably the best in terms of the whole squad but would get shown up against any other league winner from Germany, Italy or Spain. In terms of balance (or unpredictability) though, England has the best as all clubs are capable of beating each other more so than any other league, Serie A close though.

the difference is mid table, our mid table teams are better compared to any other league, just look at spain and germany after the top 5, both leagues become irrelevant.
2017-08-12 23:24
Definitely, but the top teams are way too far from the reaching the level of the top teams from Spain, Germany or Italy really. The bottom half teams from other countries I feel are also better than ours, especially Germany's and Italy's. Unfortunately, it seems as though English clubs will always fail in the continental tournaments for the foreseeable future, mainly due to the lack of experience among the players, or the squads don't have the depth in comparison to the other clubs making deep runs.

hmm interesting, i fell like our bottom half teams are much better than spain and germany's.
2017-08-12 23:48
In the Bundesliga last season, the bottom half teams included: Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Mainz, Augsburg and Hamburg. Granted, it's only one season, but a couple of those teams have been stuck in that area for some time, but would still push most of the mid-table to lower depth EPL teams' shit in should they play each other. From Spain, I can see Las Palmas and Celta Vigo beating a lot of those EPL teams too.

really ? personally i would say that las palmas would get relegated first season and i dont think celta vigo would do well at all either.
2017-08-12 23:59
Nah, Celta put up a good fight in the UEL, so I'd definitely consider them mid table at least, and Las Palmas would stave off relegation and build from there (if there was a scenario where they were an EPL club). Celta have a lot of decent individuals, with good team play. The mere fact that Iago Aspas went from THAT corner to being one of the better strikers in that league (in two seasons, scored 44 in 89 (all comps)) would help them on.

That doesn't matter when I've based it on the quality of the players from that nation, hence why I used "internationals" and not "national squad".

German clubs are definetly weaker than English. England has more clubs that can win international cups and their weaker teams are also better. And unfortunally the gap will be growing more and more since german clubs have far less money.

I know im biased, but i think that the epl is better than the la liga, yeah the top 3 of the la liga can beat every team in the epl, but after that, i think the epl wins, eg, our 5th will beat la ligas 5th, our 12th will beat la ligas 12th. La liga becomes irrelevant after 5th place.
2017-08-12 23:23
I dont think its discussion La Liga vs Epl.Epl is best league by far La liga and Spain football bs boring peice of garbage.Main reason why England suck at CL is their league is much harder than others also they care much more then others.

well France definetly has the potential to be better than brazil and germany. I think they definetly have a big chance of winning the world cup. And I don't think Portugal is in the Top 5, their win at the Euro was probably more luck than skill. They didn't win a game until after 90 Min until the semis...

Why is people typeing "brazil", their national team suck! What have they done the last 10 years? Germany, spain and france is waaaay better even Chile, Argentina, Portugal and England is as good or better.
2017-08-12 23:35
Used to suck. After one decade they decided to hire someone actually good. Right now Brazil is doing fine, and after winning 2018 WC, Tite is going to run for president and save this land from socialists and corrupts

Brazil always had great squads, even in WC '14 but they were emotionally too weak but in my opinion it was a coach fault. Tite (current coach) is very good and if you see Brazil's last matches you'll see they are pretty consistent again. They will play against 2 europeans national teams in november (probably England and Russia or France) and then we will have a better idea of how good they are.
2017-08-12 23:52

Spanish football its overrated based on 2 or 3 clubs that can win everyone but the rest on the clubs cant be even close to tie a match frecuently. And we just had a good international team that started to be created on 2006 and get his best moment at 2010 but this team started died and now its not even close to the top nations like germany. I feel like English clubs are much more interesting to watch, lower clubs can "easily" upset top teams by surprise even get random teams get close to top teams

Historically Brazil : World cups, classical players, in general most famous footballing country. ATM Germany: Spain has the most succesful league, but it doesn't mean they are the best footballing country, because biggest stars are from outside of Spain. The core of their World Cup winning team is getting older and older, whereas Germanys team is just rising. I wish the best of luck to Belgium too, really great players, I hope they get to the top!
