The crysis is the cost of the houses in Auckland not the amount of homeless people.
That study that says 40,000 counts people living with friends and in government temporary accommodation.
I don't demonise parties but the left wing here in NZ is a fucking joke.
Greens are run by idiots.
(Meteria Turei(spelt her name wrong probably)was a greens politcian who admitted to lying about her living conditions to get more money from the government and then admitted to voting fraud and voted for someone outside of her area, then when two of the greens oldest party members said either if turei goes or we go they said fuck you and kept her so they left, then they kicked out meteria turei and when one of those 2 who left asked to comeback they said no, the greens had just reached their highest percentage ever i believe and are now down to one of their lowest percentages ever)
Labour have gone up by 13% without even changing a fucking policy, shows how dumb their supporters are and everytime National does something they either disagree or 1 up them.
National proposed to build about 4500 homes, Labour said they wanted to build 6000, now the problem is they have no plans, not enough money to do (without budget restrictions, tax increases (labour want to decrease tax so thats not gonna work) and for them to fit that many in they would need to remove all parks the area has leaving the people with jack shit to do in it)
They also wanted to restrict immigration due to National saying no to it, which would fuck the country over oh yeah no immigrants more kiwis working sounds great, except we have a lack of workers for jobs (anyone who is jobless for more than 2 years is at their own fault (unless disabled))
what labour propose would kill our economy and we would turn into 2nd world, if that happened I'd legit consider moving countries.
There are other dumb things I can rant on about labour but i'd be here all day if i did, lets just say this housing crisis is a result of labour.
Now the last party TOP, is run by an investment banker
They sound amazing on paper but anyone who knows anything or can dig deep knows whats wrong with them I'll pull out one example.
They're going to legalise weed and they say it will bring in more money but there's problems.
1: they claim we will need less policing done but that simply isn't true we will need more policing and work done to find out if they have a license to grow it, provide licenses etc and will need to work out if kids are buying it where as now they just need to find someone with weed to convict them
2: They say that the taxes from weed will help boost our money but this isn't true.
Right now when a drug raid is done ALL of the money is given to the government rather than 15% or whatever tax they choose and people would spend their money on things other than weed if we didn't which would still result in money circulating.
Now the worst part is they never get a majority alone and have to form a co-altion party
(NZ's political system is based on seats to dumb it down if you get 50% or more of the seats you can do whatever the fuck you want, if you get 45% you might need to work with a smaller party who makes you agree to one thing, if you get like 30% like labour do you can join with the greens and a few other parties to get a majority) problem with it is that they can't pass a lot of the laws they want and have to compromise and meet everyone else's demands.
