the astralis players have a salary on 10.000-13.000$. How much is the other players salary?

SK - $15k + tournament prizes
2017-08-31 11:24
North is like 15k :)
2017-08-31 11:28
literally wtf is going on at north. shittest team and only getting worse, yet look at their fucking salary lmao. talk about getting paid to do nothing, aizy must be loving life... imagine that... a global elite level player getting paid a full salary LUL
2017-08-31 11:43
they only get this salary because they got contracted by a denish football team ;/
2017-08-31 11:44
meh other orgs can afford to pay a salary like that, but they're smart and dont. not a single team right now is worth that kind of money except maybe SK. football team or not, doesnt matter they should be smart enough to not waste their money like that. extremely poor investment, then other potential orgs will see, "hey north invested into cs go, look at their return of investment... hmm nah ill invest elsewhere"
2017-08-31 11:46
at the same time is good aswell that there is more money in esports therefore csgo and whole esport is growing bigger
2017-08-31 11:47
but its not sustainable money is the point im trying to make, sure now its great but in the long run orgs are going to see there's no investment to be made spending ludicrous amounts of money buying out players/teams and then not getting any results. put it this way, you can buy an investment (whatever you want, just imagine something) at a cheap price, then that investment will go up in value, you can hold onto it or liquidate that investment and get some money. The problem is, people will see that investment made someone else money, but the money has already been made so they're buying a depreciating asset that has already had it's boom. I'm not good at explaining this in writing lol, but hopefully you get my point.
2017-08-31 11:52
imho there should be a lot more football orgs making esport division and give chance to unknown young player which mad potencial, for example in Poland there is a lot of good young players but they never achive anything because they are disbading after 1 tounrament because they have no org, but if there would be an org they would have to stay together and they could get more expierence. AGO gaming is a good example, these players that are playing on that team has been playing in random mixes for a long time (exept furlan) and now they got an org and they almost got into eleague and they beat gambit and vega. Also they have been wining a lot of tier 3 tournaments hltv.org/results?team=8068
2017-08-31 12:00
its sort of irrelevant to what im saying about north. but you're right, it makes more sense to spend little money on a lesser team and give them the resources they need to improve. but now teams looking for orgs are going to expect higher salary because teams like north are making bank and that raises the benchmark salary substantially.
2017-08-31 12:02
This is what happens when Sports, or E-Sports for that matter grows, you think it is a smart investment to pay 225 mil for 1 footbalplayer likethey did with neymar ? No ofcourse not but the hope is that he will bring them succes in the sport. Happens to every sport that gets big, NBA, FIFA, NFL, NBL and so on..
2017-09-01 10:49
same like football rofl
2017-09-01 07:17
look at virtus pro...
2017-09-01 11:46
yes but look at VPs fanbase. they are marketable, will sell merch etc... no one wants North's merch and they are probably the least marketable top 15 team lol
2017-09-01 12:09
you were talking about performance...not about how profitable/marketable players are:) and in term of performance,vp is even worse and has like 25k salary which is undeserved AF.

good for them, clueless kids deserve to get scammed so they learn before it's too late
2017-09-01 10:43
They are using stolen keys to resell them and taking the money themselves instead of giving anything to the actual developers...

The salaries are very unhealthy right now. Russian oligarchs pump money into their teams (SK, VP, Navi) so other orgs feel obliged to do the same through investors without actually making enough money with sponsors etc.

I doubt that this is correct. Na`VI are known to be one of the richest orgs.
2017-09-01 10:50
Doesn't mean that they need to pay the most.

The biggest salary had Guardian - 20k. 18k is S1mple, and seems like Zeus also now. All others between 15-16. Also there are big penalties for different behaviour situations in NaVi. NaVi are rich af, but they keeping players strict. Also why should they pay so much money if team is tilting for a whole year. Last year they had one of the smallest salaries on market. While Astralis were on 8-10 k, NaVi had 4-6 k.

Considering that the Ukrainian average salary is quite low I'd take 5-7k anyday.

5-7k in any country is pretty decent salary)
2017-09-01 11:49
lol 5-7k in any country is a rich salary nowdays
2017-09-01 12:17
In my country (Singapore), 5-7k is a pretty shit salary honestly. I'm not working yet so I don't understand much about it, but all I do know is that 5-7k is a pretty weak salary in my country
2017-09-02 03:50
its per month my good friend
2017-09-02 03:53
singapore is very expensive, you get 3-4k there for sanitary work/washing plates from what i've heard
2017-09-02 04:06
Lol the cost of living here is like 4 - 6k per month. Not to mention for extra stuff like cars (CoE makes it like $120k USD for a Mitsubishi Lancer) and for stuff like smokes ($20 USD per packet)... Yeah
