a 1060/1070 and an i7/ryzen would cost less than 1k and will last a long time...
2017-09-25 21:54
for just cs:go it's overkill, for other games it's perfect. Recommend building it yourself tho, I always recommmend against going for prebuilds. Building your own PC isn't even that hard imo. If you build a nice PC now for around 3K then expect it to run the newest games well at a steady and high fps on high settings for the next 5 years at least.

R7 1700 in a 3k build??? lmao why would you ever do that?

Why would you waste 150$ to overpay for a R7 1800X if you can simply overclock 1700 and get same results?

Than why even bother with buying Intel Cpu if it beats R7 1700 only when overclocked?

Well if you said that he does not want to overclock , than there is no point to buy an I7 7700K (Or any I7 at all) . Just go for Ryzen and be happy

Well its a 3k build. The i7 7700k is better at gaming and the i9 7900x is the best. He can afford the i9

1000$ CPU , which requires 400$ Motherboard can overperform a 370$ CPU with 200$ Motherboard by 5-10% . WOW WORTH IT 10/10

Yes but buying a 3k PC isn't cost effective anyway. Just went on PC part pick and its £950 for the CPU and the Mobo combind. Any the i9 is more than 5% better.

uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/CnmQr7 See it fits within the 3k range. This is the best he can get.
2017-09-25 22:21
dont even bother talking to him.He is well-known intel fanboy who defends intel like its his fathers company or smtg.I have been using intel for so long but they didnt make anything special other than fking the customers. An overclock i7 2600k still can compete with most of the kabylake processors.Every year they just delivered a new cpu with almost same except a bit overclocked. And they always changed the chipset for new gens to force users buy a new one.AMD on the other hand with ryzen ofc they finally made it.You dont have to overpay for a fking K version to overclock which doesnt include a cooler. Also you need Z100/200 mobo to be able to overclock. You can overclock any ryzen. The chipset wont change for years so you dont have to spend a mobo every year.More cores for way better rendering. And its only 10-15 fps lost maximum for games. Also cheaper cpu with cheaper mobo.More futureproof aswell. At this point i wouldn't go back to intel unless amd fucks up or intel changes the mentality.I dont give a fk about amd or intel.Im just not a retarded. Also upcoming coffeelake cpus is joke too.If you wanna overclock i7 8700k to 5ghz you need to delid like wtf???

I am not a fanboy. I don't care about Intel at all. Fuck Intel, Fuck AMD. I am non-biased when it comes to this and truly belive that Intel is the best way to go atm.
2017-09-25 22:40
Better on what aspects? There is no way intel is good when its come to price/performance ratio. You can do much more with ryzen without overpaying. Its just not worth it.

dont buy i9 7900x man.Just search for i9 7900x vs ryzen 7 1800x/1700x benchmarks. You will understand why.5-10 fps difference with huge price difference. For example : youtube.com/watch?v=YztoHMIX0U8 You can find plent of benchmarks and comments.

He has 3,000. He can afford an i9. It is better and you don't deny that. I would normally agree with you and say get an r7/i7 but he has a lot of money to spend on a PC.
2017-09-26 19:14
Thats a huge waste, you can buy a good pc for 1K that will last you 1 year easily. JayzTwocents has a huge yt channel and he made a 500$ pc that played everything including PUBG so for 1K if you look hard you can have a very good pc that will last years

2017-09-25 22:45
i7-8700K, MSI Z370 Krait Gaming, 650W Corsair RM750i --- these are what you can base your PC on Then you choose a GPU and all the other stuff for the money left. You don't need a water cooler, Noctua NH-D15 is enough. Remember that SSD does not improve fps in games, so if there is a choice - to buy a GTX 1080 and no SSD or a GTX 1070 and an SSD - go for the first one. A PC case - well, anything starting from Fractal Design Define C. That's it it seems.

just look at the benchmarks and comments from tech guys man.Anyway its up to you its your money to spend or waste in this case?
2017-09-25 23:02
go for i7-7700k, 32gb ram, gtx 1080 mate
2017-09-25 23:03
just go on pc part picker and look for some builds there that are around 3k. That's if spending 3k on something is your only concern
2017-09-25 23:05
But yet again you said "best" pc for 3k which means if u want to get the best for 3k that means building your own pc and spending some time to get the best parts possible for cheapest prices
