Use lower settings, and lower resolution 1024x786. you should get at minimum 300 fps. Don't play high setting and high resolution in csgo, it's not comptetive.
2017-10-13 10:30
cant see shit on low resolution in csgo, in 1.6 I use 800x600 and its good.
2017-10-13 10:34
I use 1920x1080 and is Legendary Eagle 2, medium settings. i7-4790K GTX 980 with 200+ fps constant!
2017-10-13 10:36
I also have to use full hd when I set lower res everything is blurred also have less fps.
2017-10-13 10:38
Yeah I know, the skill level is most likely not affected by the resolution, but he has FPS problem, so the lower resolution/lower settings are the first things to recommend, even thought it's still weird considering his strong rig. I have an intel i7 cpu and use the iGPU only and still gets an average of 180 fps. By the way small resolution might be blurry if you place the monitor far away from you only.
2017-10-13 15:32
but in cs go when you go down with resolution you get LESS FPS cuz stupid algorithm gave more process to CPU instead GPU and rendering slow down.
2017-10-13 20:33
my fps is same at 1024 or 1280 it doesnt matter i play all settings low
2017-10-13 13:07
source engine have no logic sometimes higher details and resolution give more fps.
2017-10-13 20:35
how the fuck are u dropping to 150 fps on that build? i have i5 4670k and gtx 1060 and my fps never drops below 200 in a match
2017-10-13 10:31
I have i5-7600k and decent graphics card, also never drop below 150
2017-10-13 10:34
idk man
2017-10-13 13:07
at 1080p gtx 970 is fine If you play 4k, then perhaps worth upgrading My Gtx 1080ti is somethin like 35% usage 1080p maxed settings
2017-10-13 10:38

buy it and quit playing Cs go, pubg is the best game rn
2017-10-13 10:39
you can also disable hyperhtreading, and try if it gives more fps after
2017-10-13 10:40
Defnitely not GPUs fault your fps is so low. You can upgrade if you want though, it will be a nice boost in newer games. I'd wait for the 1070Ti though thats supposed to launch pretty soon.

Do you get low fps only in csgo or in other games aswell?
2017-10-13 15:33
even league of legends low fps. i mean 100-150 max 180. PUBG fps mostly 60-120 but i see 30-40 again. Normally my csgo fps is good +250 but too much fps drops.
