well, using your logic, fucking a guy isnt gay if girls fuck them, but im not here to discuss this topic because i identify myself as an asexual.
edit: just because you fuck a guy doesnt mean you are gay
yeah, so u think they prefer to make some music that is so underground and as such a little fan base just cause they can? black metal, death metal, groove, classic, nu, metalcore, etc. so many genres they can chose and they chose this one just cause
Hate the closemindedness of metalheads. There is commercial, shit music in the metal genre and there is passionate music in genres like classical, jazz, electronic, you name it.
Genres don't dictate the quality of music. The music does.
This music is very controversial, mentions the Brazilian politicians and all the corruption that exists in Brazil. In the refrain he says that he is happy because he killed the president, it is a very heavy letter. At the end of the song the singer explains the lyrics and says that he is not apologizing to death and violence.
man tbh honest i never tried to listen to gabriel o pensador before
all the work i know from him, its him with some portuguese musicians that i really dont like, but this music its really good
maybe ill check some more of his songs
As long as there is originality and good musicianship, I consider it to be good music, regardless if I personally like it or not.
Example: XXXTentacion is a great artist, Aurora Aksnes is a great artist and Gorgoroth is a great band.
back in the day, old folks didnt really like metal because they thought its bad influence. nowadays folks like metal and say newschool rap stuff is bad influence, and i will agree with that because all they rap about is drugs sex and bitches. so that leaves us with a theory. in future people will say that what we call shit/bad influence today, they will call it ''good old music'' in the future.
Is sex a bad thing? Even saying that that is all they sing about shows me that you are clearly ignorant on the topic. What old people think about music where the lyrics offend them is completely irrelevant to the discussion anyways. Musicians are not role models.
This isnt arguable at all. You could say that some music is made for fame and money but its still music art is what it is you cant compare a Lord Byron from a shitty poem that i write cause the intention behin it is completely different. The fact of calling something good or bad is itself subjective because of the many points of wiew that interpretate that statement.
