you should easily be getting 300 fps, not sure whats causing it im sure someone else had same issue but good luck. thinking of getting a 1070 myself and i have 6600k.
New PC, windows 10? Have you turned off all the crap they put inside it ?
Man i have the same PC but dont have any problems (
My friend i have gtx 1060, and i7 4770k, my fps in full settings is 300 drops to 200 max, with graphics i play it is 270 - 400, the problem of your pc is just your processor, i had such a problem when i had i5 without K, and fps was 140-230 i solved this problem changing processor to this one i7 4770k, you should have bought i7 7700k, than you would have easily over 320 may be more 400 fps, believe me
i havea 6600 and a 1070 with 400-500fps idk mate, someone its stopping your frames
980 7700nonk here also get huge drops mostly on faceit even to 100 fps sometimes but its really random sometimes i have 300 fps sometimes 200 sometimes 100
I have a PC with:
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060 Dual 6GB GDDR5
- Intel i5 8600K
- Asus Z370- PLUS GAMING
- 16GB RAM
- SSD 500G
Should have no problem with FPS and stuff right?
Well, I had that problem too when I was playing WoW, my computer was shit, upgraded all of my parts to better things like a 1060, amd processor etc. But it was still freezing, tried to buy 16gb RAM, helped a little bit but not too much which was weird. Then I bought a new hard drive, and ever since I bought that hard drive I haven't had any problems. Try downloading a overheating program like speedfan to see if anything in ur computer is overheated. Other than that I have no idea what could cause you to drop FPS even though u have a really good computer.
maybe throttling because of overheating? check your temperatures idle and while playing
why would you need over 200fps? your probably some noob who thinks hes being skill capped by his computer.
lul anomaly with this config got 920 fps cs go
> new pc
> i7 7700
I got almost the same specs ,
The thing is i get on cbble/inf 300-500 fps,
Dd2 even 600 on some spots
I play on 4:3 800x600
I also have big fps drops with a decent PC, unless I manually set the game to high CPU priority in task manager. I think you can set it in launch options aswell, but I had problems with faceit anticheat so i had to do it manually each time after starting CS. GL!
i7 7700, gtx 960 2gb, 8gb 2400, SSD 120gb - min 240 max 600 on low settings 1280/960 res
I have i7 7700K+1060+16gb DDR4+250SSD and i got frame drops to 60 fps , then i realize i had no antivirus and got cool trojan which mined bitcoin in background and didnt let me to install antivirus
Well, that's fault of some setting that you have in your PC, you will have to dig through the internet like hell but finally you will find a solution as I did which for me was disabling full screen optimization.
Close multi-core rendering.
i had the same problem i unparked cpu, updated the drivers, get rid of some unnecessary cmd's in csgo. Then i watched some yt guides for nvidia panel and my fps on 1280x1024 8xAA i get 300-400fps
the same setup as yours.
check your energy windows settings to see if your energy plan is set to maximum performance
wtf i have 300~400 fps with 160$ ryzen 5 1400 and Gtx 1060
Disable DVR and Gaming Mode on windows.
Set it to Performance mode.
Are you running a SSD? If yes, disable superfetch.
You have bought i7 7700? Now? Really? i7 8700 cost same money in my country and it has 6 cores instead of just 4... You have made a mistake...
Remove -threads x command from launch options. Added over 40 fps for me
csgo makes no sense
i lower my res and my fps doesn't change
the game is just shit optimized.
+mat_queue_mode 2 in launch options and you're good.
have you disabled Xbox Game DVR & nvidia shadowplay ?
I have a desktop with I7-7700k + 1060 6gb + 8gb ram and get from 600 to 250 fps, never drops below 250 on new maps like inferno/d2. I use low video settings in game as well. If I keep both game DVR and shadowplay enabled it won't go above 200 fps
buying new pc
gets 7700k instead of 8700k
i had the same problem. My solution was setting the Anti aliasing on 4x MSAA and shadow quality on medium. Try it
So your problem is that you're using windows 10. Upgrade to windows 8.1, and that should fix your fps problem. You will just suffer looking for awnsers on net like this. Backup your shit and get 8.1
just install w10 LTSB with no microsoft shit installed and have fun
From personal experience, I have a GTX 1080, i7 4790k, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10 on SSD, etc, and I had FPS drops as well. I went far and wide doing all the checklist, including getting an expensive watercooler etc (even when CPU is at 5.0 GHz made no diff).. so guess what the issue was?
The HDD that CS:GO was installed on, when it slowed down CS:GO had spikes in FPS, even though that HDD plays multiple games with no issues. So I installed a small 60GB SSD and placed games like CS:GO on it, and it's been working flawlessly ever since. A lot of people have no idea how much of a benefit an SSD can give to CS:GO, other than preventing random spikes like in smokes, can improve the fps by a bit as well if you were getting throttled by your HDD.
idk smth is wrong with ur pc because i have i7 6700k and gtx 1060 and i have stable 300+ fps
It might be silly but really do you have stable power supply and do you think power is delivered well to components. Sometimes faulty chips or sets can do that.
i5 4460 + gtx 750 ti = 250 constant fps 1024
i have 7600k with gtx 1060 and my fps drops every 3-4 weeks, remove all workshop maps and reinstall cs = back to normal
Do you use -threads 4 in launch options? Or any other optimization settings and tweaks?
i have the same specs i have like 300 fps average on dm :S
Someone help's me
What's more worth...
i5 7400 or i5 7600k GTX 1050 TI or 1060
I want to have 200-300 fps.
run a cpu/ram stress test and at least two different 3dmark benchmarks to see your performance (for comparison) and if something is wrong with your hardware
Pick 1 LMFAO
I have dual core amd athlon x2 2.4ghz and geforce 7300gs and i have stable 400fps on deathmatch.. Dude u have potato pc
had the same issue when i first got my 7700k with gyx 1070 then made some research and found some launch options , i also had 8gb ram at first then ive added another 8gb of ram it didnt make any difference on fps . i dont remember the exact settings ive set bu im sure you can find it on the web by searching .
Uninstall Windows 1709 Creators update. I've had it to with a 6700k gtx 1060 and performance got horrible. I rollbacked to previous version, everything was fine.
