twitter.com/CDPROJEKTRED/status/93222439.. <3 that greedy triple A companies EA, Activision, Ubisoft, ..... can suck my dick, I'm not going to buy their shit anymore CDP Red and Nintendo make better games and don't need day 1 DLCs and retarded microtransactions
2017-11-21 16:34
Witcher 3 is such a boring game. I wish I could refund it and get my money back. The tweet was a blatant PR movie... No respect to CDP.

the gameplay is pretty boring, so the game might be boring for you, if you don't like the story or the characters but if it fits your taste it has arguably the best gaming world, characters and storytelling
2017-11-21 16:36
If you play at the most difficult level and find some hard opponents for yourself it is nit boring. But contracts are pretty similar, that`s not good.
2017-11-21 16:45
I played it on highest difficulty right from the start and most of the gameplay is still very simple, but I enjoyed it. I just liked the boss fights from the Witcher 2 much more, they were harder and more creative imao. Hearts of Stone was the only part of the Wicher 3 where the boss fights got more interesting and a bit harder. Personally I liked HoS the most. Don't get me wrong, The Witcher 3 is one of my all time favorite games, but I can understand if someone argues that they found the gameplay a bit boring, even though liked it.
2017-11-21 16:59
Yep,i agree with you,it`is really easy. Witcher 2 diffuculty was better one.

yeah i missed the bossfights like tw2 tentacle thing but gameplay itself was fine with harder difficulties
2017-11-22 12:50
yeah, it was mostly the boss fights that could've been a bit more demanding

Contracts are all the same? Same for all similar games to be honest, at least it has some interesting stories you can read (letters left on bodies etc) if you have the time. Difficulty wise I agree it's too easy, but at the start it's actually way too hard (playing death march ofc). If you just play the story and you know what you're doing to get armour and swords etc. it's pretty decent I suppose. Kinda clunky movement don't help much with the early quests either. HoS was pretty good, surprised you preferred it considering the beautiful fuck ton of content you got with B&W, which also had a decent story. Personally I can only understand someone not liking the game if they haven't played for at least 10 hours, I was pretty bored at the start finding a way to kill those fucking dogs to save that dumbass. But when it opens up, you start understanding the story... fucking awesome. Literally am writing about this game for no reason because I love it so much, hopefully someone sees this and buys it or something
2017-11-21 18:49
I like the characters, story and boss fights the most in HoS of course the main game and b&w are great as well. Toussaint is amazing, especially if you read the books and meet Regis again. But HoS was my favorite
2017-11-21 19:21
If you're after a well written story and characters witcher 3 is for you. If you want gameplay, awesome mechanics and intense bossfights Bloodborne it's the choice. It's all about taste.

"Just because I dont like your beloved little game, doesnt mean Im baiting". You see I never stated that anywhere, why even bring that up for? You smell like a complete bait to me,starting from your first comment, and your post history. So stop making bullshit excuses. Have a nice day.

Don’t put Nintendo in the same sentence as cdpr
2017-11-21 18:37
Nintendo makes amazing games as well they don't have day one patches, big downloads or micro transactions in their console games. Nintendo is one of the last honest and not greedy companies as well. They put love in their games and do not try to scam fans.

They sell shitty ass Mario game for 10$ on smartphone and cry because they didn’t make enough money. They regularly region lock their games because why not....
2017-11-21 18:43
that is why I said console games and the switch is region lock free afaik

While I enjoyed the story of the Witcher 3, these types of statements don't deserve congratulation. No company is going to come out and say "We just do it for the money". If you were to ask EA, they would say "We are dedicated to delivering a quality gaming experience to our customers, as our focus is on making sure the consumer is happy" or something similar, but that wouldn't mean it was true. CD Projekt Red isn't as bound to deadlines and such that companies like BioWare, Blizzard, Ubisoft, and other good companies are, so it's easier for them to focus on the quality of the product.
2017-11-21 19:25
and Nintendo? they deliver quality games without microtransaction or stuff like that on a regular basis they show that the reasoning of EA etc are just weak excuses

Nintendo is notoriously bad environment for creative development, and relies entirely on it's established series. Any new IPs it introduces fail miserably, and its sequels don't even sell that well because of they're incredibly strict with any type of publicity about a game. EA's problem is they want to push out a product no matter how many hours you will be forced to work or how terrible the circumstances of development are. eurogamer.net/articles/2017-06-07-mass-e.. They just don't care about their employees. In this aspect Nintendo and CD Projekt Red seem to differ from EA and other similar AAA companies. It's unfortunate how bad the situation for these companies are, especially companies like BioWare that are trying to provide a quality experience still. I'm just doubtful CD Projekt Red will be different in their approach for a long period of time.
2017-11-21 19:35
I disagree. Nintendo has supported many creative projects that wouldn't been possible without them they gave a second chance to many great indie titles that failed on Steam & co and made games like Bayonetta 2 possible. They are a big opportunity for creative developers. Additionally they keep developing their main series and produce some of the most creative games ever (Mario 64, Zelda OoT, Metroid Prime, Mario Galaxy, Zelda BotW, Mario Odyssey and many more). They are setting new expectations for different genres instead of simple coping stuff that worked. Their consoles are always something different (can be good or bad) and with this they break the course of other console producers that only try to get closer to a PC with every console. With this they change the directions of console development, influencing others to coping them (motion controls for ps 3 etc.). They bring fresh air with their games and consoles. Their new IPs may not sell that well, but they are still great and they are supporting them a lot (Splatoon 2 especially, ign.com/articles/2017/11/21/two-major-sp.. ), giving out a lot of content months after the game released for free.

Heart of stone had decent story but overall witcher was a bit of a bore. Uninteresting hack and slash combat that was the same from start to finish of the game.
