He's too cocky. No, it won't happen.

"at Major Qualifier" he wanted to say.
2017-12-07 06:36
Very humble of him considering C9 are like 80% favorites to win it.

All the C9 players are extremely cocky. They won 2 tier 1 events and they think they're title contenders all of a sudden. I think someone needs to remind them that their BO3 record against tier 1 teams after the player break is 1-7, they've destroyed 2-0 in 6 of those losses. They are nowhere near capable of even contending for a title.

This.
2017-12-07 03:05
Are you drunk? Since player break they've beaten Gambit, Optic (x3), G2, mouz, Navi (x2), BIG And taken Astralis to map 3. The only teams constantly beating them 2-0 is Faze and SK. Since adding Rush and Tarik they are a consistent threat to break groups, even at tier 1 events.
2017-12-07 03:09
So they've beaten one tier 1 team, as I said, in G2? They have lost 2-0 to North once 2-0 to FaZe twice 2-0 to SK twice 2-1 to Astralis once 2-0 to Liquid once And it's all okay according to you because of one victory against G2, who by the way are the most bottom team on any tier 1 list?
2017-12-07 03:10
And they beat Liquid 2-0 once. You proved my point: SK and Faze are the only teams that can beat them 2-0 consistently. If they run into any other team in quarters they can easily win and place top 4.
2017-12-07 04:11
They didn't beat Liquid 2-0 once. They beat Liquid 2-1 in an extremely close series... I really don't get how that proves superiority considering Liquid did destroy C9 2-0 once after that.
2017-12-07 04:13
My bad 2-1 but extremely close? 16-5 and 16-11?
2017-12-07 04:20
Mb was thinking about a different series, but even so.. there are many teams that in a serious environment would beat C9 in a BO3 most days.

you can't make that statement without listing the teams.
2017-12-07 04:41
Outside of the two you mentioned... North, Astralis, NiP and Liquid, either due to sheer skill or countering playstyles/maps, would beat C9 in a BO3 most of the time.
2017-12-07 04:47
NiP lost to C9 most recently as I said. You just dismissed the teams I stated as being tier 1 even though 4 are in the top 10 world ranking. C9 can beat elite teams. That being said, there is a significant difference between C9 and Faze/SK. And other teams in the world C9 can play competitively and AT LEAST bring to map 3 in B03 (including Astralis, G2, etc.)
2017-12-07 06:02
NiP and Astralis are good matchups for C9. SK, Faze, VP, North are not. Either way, they're the only team in the top 8 who get thoroughly reamed by SK and Faze. If you watch the match it's like silvers playing against GEs. Other teams can at least put up a fight. That's why they're overhyped, against teams other than those two they're a decent prospect.

Is that NaVi with electronic?
2017-12-07 03:15
NaVi with electronic aren't a lot better than they were with seized, at least for now. It's possible they'll become really good again, but one tournament where they didn't look very convincing really doesn't tell anyone anything.

Another irrelevant point. Which just so happens to be wrong, they showed drastic improvement and their games did look convincing even if they were against tier 1-2 it wasn't just because of firepower, their t sides were amazing, as Zeus' usually are. They need better CT sides and they'll be very strong
2017-12-07 13:25

If Misfits go to major they will go further than c9. Even if c9 are the better team over all.

at this point its not even their playing, they are mentally shaking every time they play at the Major They would beat VP easy given their form but they get nervous, antsy and just make dumb decisions and lose ( just like the decided game on Train vs VP at Krakow )
2017-12-07 03:16
they had shroud and nothing in krakow.......much better now should beat anyone easily except faze sk astralis

At least Stewie is humble and realistic, I'm not an NA hater but they shouldn't get cocky when they haven't shown that they can beat Astralis, SK or North in a BO3 series yet and then got absolutely butchered at Oakland in the semifinals.
