Dude, Im not saying you are not the best football in the world. I agree with you on this point. On CS GO you are not, and if you arent baiting, you have some kind of brain damage. My point is: Dude, you can watch as many DVDs, movies, documentaries and etc.. Doesnt mean you know how the guy trully was. It was like me saying that Puskas was better or worse than Lewandowski. I love Lewandowski. I love Puskas. Ive seen thousands of movies, dvds and etc about him. BUT I DIDNT WATCH THE GUY PLAYING !!!! I have no opinion on who was better simply because of that.
2017-12-12 12:23
You say that I did not see, of course I saw, in addition to the dvds, his movie that I watched, I listen to the report of my grandfather who saw him play live. If we are 3 world brain, you are world 5 education because so far I have only worked with arguments and not with Polish curses.

Hello Mr. I Don't know anything about football before 2000, how is your day?
2017-12-07 11:08
Just out of interest, do any of you follow futsal? Imo it counts as football and some of the stars there are just insanely skilled techniques wise. Take a look: youtube.com/watch?v=NBB8PDenGJM
2017-12-07 11:15
Just watch Ricardinho or Falcao play
2017-12-07 11:20
Of course I watch them play, my point was that there are plenty of players with that mad skill in futsal. Ricardinho and Falcao are a rare occasion in football and almost a regular in top futsal, technique wise.
2017-12-07 11:22
It's a different game. Falcão plays for São Paulo for 6 months, and doens't play well. Maybe with more time practicing, but I doubt.

+1 thats what I mean, to me those guys > all the hardwork guys cuz they show the passion about football the analogy would be fnx on csgo for example, or whatever like that LUL if you love the game theres no way you dont love ronaldinho or romario, those guys are just too funny and godlike at the game

True brother. I am not a teenager anymore, still too young to remember romario on his prime.
2017-12-07 11:43
yeah man, I was born in 92, his godlike world cup was in 94, I didnt even remember lol but I followed him close when I started to catch up on things, all my family member though he was retarded cuz talked too much shit, an asshole etc I just tough he was the funniest guy ever and start following him on clubs and shit and a little detail: in a little america cup or whatever those little SA cups that happens, the attack from BR was fat ronaldo + romario imagine if they played 98 with fat ronaldo + romario on the attack LUL fuck politics!! but fat ronaldo and romario were too good, those guys had the best "vision" to make goals EVER, doesnt matter the angle, position etc football was way more interesting back in those days

I was born in 86 and still the only thing I can remember clearly is the end of his career when there was the argument about how many goals he had or not. Other than that only what I saw on youtube. Ronaldo on the other hand, I saw live and it was fucking amazing. His first season in Barcelona he became a god. Any ball he caught in the midfield people would expect him to just take it forward sprinting and dribbling everyone. He was that kind of beast. Then Ronaldinho came and we had Bernabeu surrendered to a Barcelona player.

I love sports, and those guys loved aswell, well at least football, and that is indeed what they loved the most, the game, and not the preparation itself. You have many players than on their youth were so much better than the rest that didnt really care about training, for some, things went horribly wrong, for others not so much. Nani when he was playing for Real Massama, 15/16 years old was several times benched cuz he didnt want to train or wouldnt apply in the training, he got over it because when he reached Sporting he was a great player, yes, but not in a league above everyone else. Ronaldinho was like a 25y old player playing against 15y old kids. He was that much better.

The way he broke Ricardo Carvalho, playing against Chelsea with just a body feint shows us how above everyone else he was.
2017-12-07 13:14
I agree on the "professional" thing but as a brazilian, I dont know man, sometimes I think people dont understand how passionate people are about football in BR ronaldinho for example, the way he played to me >>> play uglier but more titles all those legends from br were pure entertainment ont he other hand, part of their success was... at the time those guys played, br had the more godlike lowkey players EVER combined, and all them with great experience and good personality so even they not practing too much, still enough with their raw talent, something that of course, would NEVER fly nowdays lol so talking about nowdays I agree with you 100%, but for back in the day that fact just made them more likeable lol football was 60% instinct and raw talent, 40% work hard af nowdays are like 80% work hard af, 20% raw talent or something lol cuz of football meta, politics etc

Your right mate but I look at CR as an example. Lots of times i think to myself, what if Ronaldinho/Adriano/Romario/etc had actually work as hard as CR? It would be a joinig of raw skill an talent with hard work. Brazilians would ez be the greatest of the greatest and no one in the world doubt that.
2017-12-07 12:07
dont get me wrong, CR is amazing too, is just a whole different way of looking at the sport as a whole, I guess this would be like comparing a cs 1.6 player with a csgo player you know? to me its non sense to compare them, both eras are insane, nowdays is way harder to play, CR, messi etc still really amazing... but to me they are like robots nowdays, back in the days used to have more of a "passion" feel to the game, I dont know how to explain but at least is what I felt watching old br football and not only br, mothafuckas like zidane etc, same thing! stars come and go, but that 2002 br team was 100% stacked, every single player of that team was REALLY good, marcos(goalkeeper) was blessed at that event, so this matters too, not only those guys were great, but they also had great teammates to potentialize cuz imagine CR or messi with a world cup team like that =P thats what I mean on we cant compare, but br football is great <3

Cr7 is the most acomplished Portuguese player of all times. But like the OP said he has a different mentality, he is driven by results. Someone asked him in a interview why he changed his way of playing, stopped dribling so much and so on, and he said that the goal is the objective of the game. 100% correct. The fact is, players like Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Maradona, Quaresma (to give a portuguese example) they wanted to put up a show, they dared to fail, trying to amaze. And that is another level.
