LONG READ, Read if you want, if you dont want to read and comment something stupid just leave before you comment, ty. The 1997 bank robbery in North Hollywood is a damn good documentary, but: On the wikiepedia page its says "After a long gunfight with the police Philips Norinco rifle jammed when a cartridge case was stuck in the cartridge position. When this happened, he had already been seperated from Matasareanu and walked along a sidewalk while shooting at the police. Phillips abandoned his jammed weapon and started using a Beretta 92F gun. He continued to shoot the police with his weapon, but when the police managed to hit his right hand, he dropped the gun. He later began to move again and continued to shoot. Shortly thereafter, Phillips placed the mouth of the gun under his chin and shot himself after being hit in the spine of shooting police. Whether Phillips took his life intentionally or if he accidentally came to the trigger when trying to reload his weapon with a hand is unclear. (The Swedish wiki version) "Whether Phillips took his life intentionally or if he accidentally came to the trigger when trying to reload his weapon with a hand is unclear." <---- This is just fucking weird? Its kinda obv that Philips placed the gun under his chin and pulled the trigger (Watch the video when he does it) So how can Wiki / Police write that Philips might have killed himself by mistake? Just sounds weird tbh

What does it mean hit in the spine, was he shot in the spine? At exactly the same time he tried to shoot himself?

Him and his "co-robber" had heavy armor on, so yeah thats really wierd. But i think they mean that he got shot before he killed himself because he thought "Well i will be in prison for the rest of my life / executed", but yeah, weird :P en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Hollywood_sh.. here is the English wiki version anyways.

Likely they went with that version so the police officer who shot him in the back didn't have to go through an investigation, is a bit weird!

Yeah, it really is :P If you look at a video of the suicide he clearly puts the gun under his chin and pulls the trigger.
