i was stopped at 1050 ti its 100$ cheaper than 1060 6gb
2017-12-08 15:28
CS:GO is 32 bit. It can't use more then 4GB of ram (Usually takes around 1GB @1080p)
2017-12-08 06:50
Did you read my reason above
2017-12-08 14:49
Pentium 3 and 6600 gtx should be fine.

I had a 4460 with a gtx960 4gb edition and I had around 200 plus or minus most times. I also had 8gb ram. Maybe 4 is little, might wanna upgrade to 8. As for Cs, it's very GPU dependant. I switched from 4460 to 4790 (because I didn't wanna change my mobo), and I have 300+ fps it goes down in smokes and fights, but most times at least I'm at around 300. I also got the 4790 pretty cheap on ebay, so if you have the money, I'd suggest upgrading your CPU.

I have i5 4460, 2x4gb 1600mhz and GTX 1060 3gb and when playing DM FFA 18 players my fps drops from 200 to 70-80. Playing 5x5 Inferno fps drops to low 100's too. New gpu and ram will help you but if you can get a better CPU too.

man this is crazy atm i get 100+ on inf and sometimes happens that i go to 90
2017-12-08 03:12
I never drop fps in smokes. This is why you buy a gpu with more than 2-3gb of VRAM. It’s not enough, unless you want to play on potato graphics which makes little sense

everyone and every single pro plays cs on extremely low settings. if you don't you're silver 300%
2017-12-08 03:25
CS Go was never about graphics its about the gameplay, if you crank up the graphics you're so stupid performance is the main thing that is important for CS nothing more, smoother gameplay and higher fps is more important than playing on highest res and everything cranked up to max, why you would want to do that in a game that has such shitty graphics anyway makes no sense. I get people wanting to play 60 fps max settings on games like witcher or something with amazing atmosphere and graphics but CS Go looks like shit no matter what setting you are on, game looks like something that came out last generation on xbox 360.
2017-12-08 03:32
because I get 300-400 fps even with everything turned to max? why the fuck would you spend big money on a pc to play the game with potato graphics?
2017-12-08 05:14
The game has potato graphics thats the point I'm making, question really is why are you playing CS Go at all if you care that much about graphics.
2017-12-08 06:10
I don't care about the graphics that much, just having things like AA off and texture filtering makes the game look muddy with jagged edges. I personally cant play with graphics like that.

i don't drop fps in smokes i drop fps in the new inferno wtf u reading
2017-12-08 04:18
read the wrong post, nonethless fps drops aren't a normal thing if you have a good pc
2017-12-08 05:13
get another 4GB
2017-12-08 03:36
My gtx 1060 gave me a 100 fps bump and that's on a poor Amd 7860k. The i5 should be at least 200 with that gpu but the 1050 doesn't compare to the 1060 if you can afford the $

200-250 fps depends on the map. might get below 200 on nuke. In community dm you will be around 150 edit- also depends on res. as long as its not 1920 the above will b true

nobody can tell you how much fps you gonna get? what resolution do you play? if its 1920x 1080 high then around 100 - 120fps. if you play on medium settings or lower resolution you probably gonna get close to 200 fps.
2017-12-08 04:21
350fps Dust2 300 Cache I5 4430 + 660 1366x768 native but i play on 1024x768 You should have even a little bit more than i have with a 1050Ti
2017-12-08 04:25
Get +4GB ram. If you are cheap get a used 660/660ti/760/760ti/950/960 or buy a new 1050 2GB. All of these are more than enough.

im getting 1050 ti 4gb , i just wanted for ppl with i5 4460 and 1050 ti to tell me whats their fps ;) i play 1024 all low settings
2017-12-08 21:46
For csgo you will get over 200fps on heavy maps, otherwise 250-300+
2017-12-09 02:34
If you are playing on low settings, which most people should play on, the. You should get 200-300 FPS. I have a little better cpu, and a little better gpu, and I get around 300+ in 5v5. You should be able to get around there

Everything above GTX750ti can put out 300fps, so a gtx 1050 for CSGO is more than ok, 1050ti is a super budget card. You dont need 1060 for csgo, everyone stating that is a fucking retard. Even a gtx 1030 (basicly the same as a 750ti) can give u 200-250fps. GL!

Buy the 1050 or 1060, but don't listen to anyone telling you to upgrade cpu, the one you got is fine for csgo at 1280 or 1024 whichever you choose. I have an i5 2400 and a gtx 750ti and I get around 250fps on 1360 so you'll be fine with what I said above
