Of course, but that doesn't change the facts. I can agree that climbing elo in Faceit is not 100% in correlation with your skill, but in your case it is. For example, I had times when I'd consistently drop 30 bombs due to being a bit below where I was supposed to be, but I got unlucky with teams so my elo did not, or hardly went up for about 20 games or so.
Still, my individual performance never failed, if you truly belong above there then you'd consistently perform well. Unlucky with teams or not, eventually you'd climb. I've never once had a time where I dropped elo, lets say a level below where I should be, and didn't top frag half of my games at the very least.
But then again, you're pretty new to faceit. Just keep grinding, but you gotta stop being cocky. The levels are there for a reason, the fact that you outperformed a level 8-10 that has a 10% winrate because of not playing for months does not mean you belong in level 8, you're making bold statements by saying the gap is small. I can guarantee you that with your current performance you're nowhere near there. That being said, though, the gap between level 5 and 8 is not THAT big, depending on how much you play you can easily reach it in within a few months to a year.
