Not all of those components are in the store I want but thx in advance
2018-01-02 21:09
A 600W bronze it's enough.
2018-01-02 21:30
ye but it's good to have some extra power ,and it's in the budget
2018-01-02 21:31
No it's useless. Even a good 450W powersupply is enough btw., so I would go for a good 500W. Furthermore the i5-7640x is better, IF! u only play CS:GO (75%+), due to his higher frequency (up to 4,2 GHz). A GF 1070 is only needed, if he plays other games, too. Otherwise a GF 1060 is enough. And you shouldn't buy a pc without an SSD anymore, with a 2. bigger HDD for sure.
2018-01-02 23:18
agree with everything but still it's a good 1000$ PC

That build has a GTX 1050 TI. I will be getting it because it is cheaper than a 1060 and I really want my PC by beginning/mid February which is when I should have around $1000

2018-01-02 22:02
Even 300w would be enough 450 w Could run even a 8700k & 1080

im running a 32gb ram, z270, 1080 7700k on 450w i only OCed it very gently tho lol
2018-01-02 23:10
I run 4790k @ 4.9 GHz, 970, 8 GB etc. with only 450W, too. So yes, it's enough, if it's not a no-name powersupply.

nonono dont go from 16gb ddr3 to 4gb ddr4 lol WHAT??? mate u NEED 16gb ram and u should preferably get it in 2x8 sticks for easy dual channel and expansion, or 4x4gb if necessary, for dual channels also just get ddr4 dont be a noob

do that, thats fine, since u can dual channel same ram - but u cant use ddr3 with ddr4... that means u only have 8gb ram. i would get 16gb for sure. 8gb is enough for CS obv, but if u play any new game, ur ram will be instant bottleneck lol

honestly difference between ddr3 and ddr4 isn't massive, and if u stand between 16gb ddr3 or 8gb ddr4, u should go with ddr3 just the obvious problem is u need to change ALL your ram sticks if you ever want to upgrade that

Why would you ever get a Kabylake x cpu, your wasting your money, especially when the mother board will be more expensive then then the cpu its self, Just get a coffee-lake cpu, don't play yourself with that crap.

only like ,4 difference in base clock speed, same threads and cores, so its relatively minor difference unless you plan on streaming i would also never buy the 7640x, but thats cause not having hyperthreading on 4 cores (or, failing that, at least 8 cores) is pretty shitty for future

I'll go with the coffee lake then. Not planing on upgrading again my PC in at least 2 years

well if u wont upgrade for 2 years I would get hyperthreaded cpu for sure, like i7, its essentially 4 cores but will tell apps (and games, and streaming software, and processes) that u have 8 and will then be able to function as 8 cores though obv only with 4 cores of power it isn't literally twice as good as 4 cores singlethreaded, but it is A LOT better if u like open 4 tabs on chrome, open a stream (or stream urself) and have a game open. it is a big difference. kinda big difference in price though, so its up to you. 4 cores will def. be min. recommended spec. for coming games.

I am just impatient to make the buy because I've never had a PC that can run games. It's so good that you answered my questions because hardware is really difficult to understand for me :D The problem is that my store doesn't have everything I want but is a store that I can trust in. In Europe that probably isn't something to worry about but some of the things you recommended me to buy it's not only more expensive but also more difficult to find. That's why I asked you about specific components because that is what the store has. I'm glad it's enough and I hope the times spend working for it really pays :D Thx very much

I feel you man, I got my computer cause I was properly settled in with a fulltime job also - my first real awesome computer. I got a top tier gpu, motherboard, ram (and ram amount) etc. along with the cpu. You will have great CPU with this (the 7740) but ur gpu will only play shit on medium in 1 year, most likely, cause it only has 3mb vram, so while u have 16gb ram (and thats fine) u should probably save up for a 1070 (or ideally a 1080 ti) though they are shitload more expensive, if you're looking to play NEW games in the coming years if you're alright on medium settings, it's GG and your setup is fine, just thought u should know

I'll see how medium graphics are but I think I'll stick with the GPU because I got used to low graphics thanks to this PC but I'll have to see if it's worth it or not. But once I've bought it all the basics, it'll be much easier to save money for upgrades. I just hope the extra money I'll spend in refrigeration works because the weather here is mostly hot

if you don't overclock it, you'll be fine with even a standard cheap blow-cooler on your cpu, if your place is well ventilated and not far above 20 degrees but given you're in brazil i dont have a clue what to tell u lol, that should could heat up real quick :D:D best of luck man, and enjoy your new PC!

To my current PC I've 2 fan and it's OK but given that I never had a PC this good I decided to buy a liquid cooler. Prevention is better than curing :D
2018-01-02 21:49
You can't save money with your cpu. Because the only mother boards that will work all cost more then the actual 7740, which is retarded.
2018-01-02 22:39
If I disable HT on my i7, i get around 10-20% higher FPS. Same worked with a Xeon 1230vX. So HT is great for Battlefield 1 and other, newer games, but you should try to disable it, if CS:GO is your main game. (i couldn't belive this myself, before I tried it)

oh ye 100% but that's why I'm talking about newer games specifically, since he says he is particular about not wanting to upgrade for 2 years following this purchase thats why I said he should get a hyperthreaded 4 core or 4< core cpu
