I mean...would you rather have a safe country without a team that hasn't even been to a LAN yet or a dangerous country filled with good teams? I mean, the good teams wouldn't go anyways ;\
Yeah. Shame it won't happen since too much Esports money in USA and not enough in west/central-europe. (east europe already strong with many tourneys compared to size)
Maybe don't threaten a US Citizen's life on Twitter before applying for a visa lmao
>plenty of top players
1) until esports become more mainstream, there just isn't enough public awareness to 100% avoid visa issues
2) yes, the US is a mess right now when it comes to immigration. half the population wants the US open, the other half wants it closed (obviously there are people in between but just for arguments sake). unfortunately we are a big country with a MASSIVELY diverse population who cannot seem to agree on anything, leading to an inability to create coherent and lasting policies on really anything.
3) for the most part, the US has put on some really great tournaments. mlg xgames 2015 - amazing, mlg columbus- amazing, eleague atlanta- still really good, iem oaklands and new yorks, really good, eleague season 1 and 2, really good. yes, we do have visa issues occasionally, but for the most part we host pretty good tournaments
2 teams fuck up on their own
..but it's the US fault?
Great logic again hltv.
Btw, I wouldn't want that psycho kNg in my country either.
I feel bad for TyLoo, but fuck 100T tbh
I agree, for me no more US Majors.
I think Sweden is a country that deserves a major
The country is the CS Home, the legendary teams and players are from there
i agree, no more majors on us
DUR NO MUR MAJUR IN US. We just don't accept Visas from shitholes like brazil and taiwan.
Notice how no players from civilized countries had their visas rejected.
Dumb Europoors and stank monkeys piping up a storm.
Don't blame the tournaments or the country for peoples VISA issues... Tournaments are held all over the world and it's up the attendee to attend, not the other way round. Some of these tournaments are based in America and therefore will hold big tournaments in America as proof of this.
ELEAGUE Boston is absolutely huge and while it's a shame for 100Thieves and other teams in the past who haven't been able to attend, it's still their own liability to fix their VISA issues beforehand.
the fuck? aigh if u want sand nigers blowing up ur country be my guest
Yes! no more US tournaments, I stayed up all night just watching ELEAGUE qualifying games, only to see nV lose, no 100T, and fuck up my sleeping schedule
Fuck the US
OP is a faggot, his argument is invalid as soon as he said it was "racist immigration rules" implying that the immigration laws ain't strict if you are for example from Norway.
also even if it's strict to come into the country it doesn't change the fact that they host very good and successful tournaments, unlike (example) Blast Pro Series in Denmark which had over a whole day worth of delays.
And lastly, it would greatly benefit eSports and Counterstrike having tournaments in the US as it will bring in a lot more publicity than if you would host it in Brazil, where nobody would give a fuck if you didn't already know what csgo is.
meme country? you joking ?
while we are at it, no tournoments in germanistan also.
i dont feel safe with all those terrorists and rapefugees lurking around. also merkel is probably just gonna pop up in my hotel room and say that i have to take some refuges back with me and if i dont comply i'll be arrested by the illegitimate europol and tried in fascist EUSSR courts with no human rights.
