Ok here, let me try to explain WITHOUT bias then. I will use everything YOU claim in your paragraph.
"he has more mvp"
Yes, he has more MVPs, but they don't only look at MVPS. MVPS go to one of the EVPS on a team when they WIN a tournament. EVP = exceptionally valuable player.
A player winning an event is a team achievement. It boosts your stats a little, but not a lot.
As for EVPS, they count as big things too. FalleN got quite a few EVPS, but Dev1ce likely has an EVP in almost every event he played, because he was a major factor (he didn't get his 1.18 rating for nothing) for astralis.
"more longevity in tournaments"
I would disagree with that. Astralis as a team has played less events than SK. Dev1ce also missed 4 events that SK played (esl cologne, cs summit, pro league s6, blast pro series) even if a team averages 10 maps per tournament, that shows that AStralis' runs in tournaments were nearly the same as SK's throughout the whole year. You are forgetting that SK went out in groups 4 times this year = less maps played.
"played more events"
ok this is a valid argument, but that is like saying that just because they played for 2 more months total than dev1ce that they deserve to be ranked higher.. its about what you do when you are there. 100 maps is more than enough to determine placement in the top 20. there are many players that dont even have tha tmany maps. The teams Astralis SK and FaZe are the only teams where all their players all have played 100+ maps this year.
