i know that, but still G2 and clown9 didnt reach playoffs since 2k16 and people still losing points because of that. Even if i'm vp fan - vp always reach playoffs even if they underperformance so :D

Vega is getting out, first EL major they made the qualifier, PGL they made the major, so based on that track record theyre making it out of groups this year

Maybe the fact that they almost beat sk in a bo5 at their last big event. They always do bad at small tournaments such as SL.

ok, let me break down virtus pro 2017 for you eleague major great tournament for vp, they played overall well dh las vegas virtus pro managed to keep up their major form and won the event, at this point they are one of the best teams in the world katowice 2017 after winning in las vegas they face heroic in the 2-2 decider match, heroic sends virtus pro home on their home ground. Star series season 3 finals they win in the opening round of the swiss system vs mvp pk, after that they go on to win total of 9 rounds vs sk,fnatic and nip (2-16, 2-16 and 5-16) Clash for cash vp wins nuke vs astralis and has a 3-0 start on overpass they lose overpass 4-16 and following map (mirage) 3-16 adreline cybere league they have a close 2-1 win over hr and 2-1 win over scrappy navi to win the tournament esl one cologne 2017 they go out clean 0-3 ( 12-16 vs imt, 9-16 vs sk, 9-16 heroic) pgl krakow major vp makes it to semifinals and loses to imt dh malmö they go out 0-2 (4-16 vs navi, 7-16 vs renegades) esg mykonos they make it to semifinals and lose out vs mouz esl one new york they lose 5-16 to faze and 1-2 to liquid on bo3 decider on who goes out on last place eleague premier they lose 6-16 to envy and 0-2 to nip on bo3 decider on who goes out on last place epicenter they have an amazing run and finish second place vs sk on bo5 sli shanghai they defeat flash 2-1, renegades 2-0 and heroic 2-0 to make it to finals where renegades cleans the house with easy 2-0 WESG 2017 they have 3 ties vs russia, game agents and envyus + 1 loss vs belgium, they get eliminated on second to last place theres nothing that makes me believe virtus pro has it in them to do anything at this major.

its not likely at all that they would magickly become not shit, its possible, but very unlikely + to add on top that, between their mediocore lan finishes /(shit lan finishes) they have had a terrible run of online matches. They have basicly lost to every single pro team that plays on europe. EXTRA NOTES: the core of vp is having having a breakdown. we shouldnt even know about these problems, because those are usually kept within the team, but i wonder for how long have they felt like this if the manager of the team has to come forward to clear things up.

faze 3-0 one of these 3 will go 3-0: (ast/faze/sk) sk: sk is playing with felps ast: ast just got device back + they have just made dupreeh an awper therefore i chose faze ( its unlikely to get the 3-0 right anyway) navi to legends, who else would you have insteaed of simple vincere dying vp? suffering north? liquid with zews? big bug? i'd agree that ss/fnatic have a change, but im willing to take the gamble on that one
2018-01-18 08:21
sk: sk is playing with felps ast: ast just got device back + they have just made dupreeh an awper therefore i chose faze ( its unlikely to get the 3-0 right anyway) What about you dont pick any of these because they make it through anyways with a 3-1 or 3-2. Pick an unsual pick.

faze has as high changes of making 3-0 as any other top 5 team in the tournament g2 is on the right track, shox is playing well again + players are confident on their roles, last time they were playing like this, they won the tournament for vp read #47 and #59

That's the thing with vp, you have to just believe and hope they don't turn out to be total shit show once again, and that's a problem for me. North always has the change to win matches, because of k0nfig and aizy have potential to blaze the match, but the problem with them for me is that msl seems to be unable to come up with a gameplan that enables the team function on the deeper level, not just getting carried by stars (thats a fine plan if your stars turn up every single game, but that wasnt the case on their last lan gyazo.com/11b21adc322be38a7aa3cc517edac5.. )
