EVGA.. all the other brands are shit compared to EVGA
2018-02-14 11:58
ASUS is better than EVGA.
2018-02-14 12:00
No they arent lol... their customer service is shit and their components on their products is worse quality than evgas there is a reason why world records are done on evga products and most overclockers use evga

Bought a gtx 970 from EVGA a while ago and it had horrible coil wine. Bought an asus 980ti and it doesn't make a sound except for the normal fans. You must not know what you are talking about. Customer service is irreverent when talking physical graphics cards

You do know coil whine is rng? right? Guess u dont know what ur talking about as expected. But i can easily power on my 970 from asus and let u hear the coil whine and my 1080 ti from evga with no recoil at all.. but yeah my 1070 from evga had slight coil whine which they took in and gave me a new 1070.. asus wud never do that so yeah evga > any other brands. All brands got coil whine and the reason u see more topics on evga with it, is bcus they got 2-3 times more graphics card sold than the other brands.

Coil wine is not completely rng though ill give you some credit since you don't have a clue what you are saying and are willing to lie to try to be right. Coil wine is much more common on cards with lesser quality components. You pretty probably don't actually have an asus card judging off of the fact that you hate them so much. EVGA are known to have more coil wine than most of manufacturers look around online. Even if you do have an asus 970 and it does have coil wine it is a decently rare occurrence.

Lie to be right?? u do know all brands use the same kind of components right? the only dif is the amount of VRM they put on... and the more VRM can make the power more clean to reduce coil whine and so far EVGA and MSI are the ones using the most VRMs and i think galax uses EVEN more which is totally overkill. Reason the coil whine is happening on the newer cards is bcus of the amount of power these cards pull compared to the older generation. And as i said evga sell 2-3 times more nvidia cards than any other brands (which is the reason for more topics about coil whine) and u cant find any better VRM components than what EVGA uses... But go check buildzoid on youtube he checks the components on every graphic card and motherboards.

Don't buy GPU atm with all the bitcoinminers. Wait for new nvidia cards or bitcoins price to drop

2018-02-14 12:26
I have evga 1080 sc which I recommend but in terms of bang for buck I'd have to say G1
