The rate of intentional homicide in Argentina is 6%~ while in the U.S it is 4%~.

The U.S includes more incidents under the category of mass shooting than other countries. There is no one universal definition for what defines a mass shooting, so it varies, but the U.S is very loose with what they consider a mass shooting.
2018-02-15 02:52
like 30k people a year die from guns in the US. go fix your shit instead of arguing definitions.

He presented a statistic that wasn’t entirely accurate and I told him why. I never mentioned whether I think guns are an issue or not and I never argued about how many people die from guns in the U.S. Don’t bring up random shit that doesn’t have any relevance to my comments please.
2018-02-15 03:19
it has relevance. your whataboutism is whats irrelevant. who gives a fuck about argentina. thousands of people die from guns and all youre doing is sitting here typing shit to make it seem less bad than it is. but it is bad. people die and you guys dont give a fuck. youd rather sit here acting all defensive than think about it 1 sec.

You’re talking to me, right? You clearly have no clue what my opinions or views on gun control are, so shut the fuck up, don’t be so rude and obnoxious, and go pick a fight with someone who’s actually doing what you’re saying. Okay?
2018-02-15 03:25
if your opinion on guns is anything other than "guns are great and we should all have several" why the fuck are you even in here defending your retarded governments policies?

He showed me a picture of mass shootings in the U.S. I explained why the figure was so high. Show me where I defended guns. I’ll wait.

How? Show me where I did that. You’re reading into what I’m saying for no reason because you want to stir shit up. If you’re going to jump to irrational conclusions based on my comments and immediately accuse me of shit I didn’t even do than do me a favor. Mute me, and don’t reply to my comments in the future.

NA? Canada is a great place to live, if expensive, and the U.S has some of the nicest cities in the world. If you are middle class the U.S and Canada are fantastic.

Canada is better. But you can't really criticize the US. It is so popular and big, you can't simply ban guns anymore. Everyone has guns and you can't just take them away. Even if you did, gangs and criminals that illegally have them, will still have them and commit more crimes. A big factor in school shootings is that schools are a "no gun zone" which means even security guards don't have guns which is retarded. No one to defend if someone does bring a gun to a school. If security guards are trained and have guns, they stop any shooting

2018-02-15 01:15
yeah they should make it easier to get weapons so everyone can defend themselfs!!! EU has so many school shootings that it has killed 1/4 of all school kids in EU, and this is because it is so much harder to get weapons in EU than NA. If every teacher had a m4 or AK it would be easier to defend themself. Even australia has so much problems with school shootings, they have a school shooting almost every day since the 90's. More guns to the people! More freedom! Make America Great Again!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe it is safe in particular locations but I can assure you that the majority of the country is drowning within dread and is filled with reasons for people to want to commit suicide or undergo mass shootings hence why people do these things way more than they do in other countries

the united states is a country of 300 million inhabitants or more, if you stop to think of a percentage of people with some kind of mental disturbance is bigger because of the giant population density, then it is common to hear this kind of thing here than in any other country

As a fellow Floridian I can confirm that we are indeed the best state in the south. Best winters good summers as long as you're on the coast. Also most people south of Gainesville are pretty chill

Actually, Florida in general is a pretty nice place. There's hundreds of miles of good beaches. Lots of sunlight. Several professional sports teams. Lots of towns and cities on the water with festivals year round. My main beef is that there's no mountains because I love mountains. Stupid shootings? Yes. That's because some in the country have a fucked-up attachment to guns and they're holding sensible gun laws hostage.
