Here, have some Pendulum and Knife Party: youtube.com/watch?v=gkwpXipZUoE&list=PLd.. Pendulum are the kings of DnB.

Well you're ultimately correct here, opinions aside. Knife Party are pretty recent, but the good ol' Pendulum stuff is gone. I still rank Pendulum as the best ever, but you're right in using the past tense here, friend. :)

Haha - of course. :D I love all genres of Electronic music and generally all genres to begin with. Pendulum were definitely my absolute favourites, but Knife Party went towards the more EDM/House/Hardcore spectrum of the Electronic music genre... I saw your post down below - some great tracks there, man. :D I have never heard of that New Zealand guy before, but he is REALLY good! Truly talented.

I was total DNB head few years back... Didnt listen anything else and I still remember all kind of tracks what I did find back then. :D Now I'm so lazy that I dont usually go to parties but if I do go it will be either drum and bass or techno/house music party. I did listen psytrance also when I was younger but that shit is just way too ruff and those kind of parties were also quite random :D

Aye - those kinds of parties are absolutely insane (in the membrane)! I grew up in the 90's where electronic music took it's first steps into mainstream... Back then pop, rock and grunge were all the rage. So it was artists like Faithless, Snap, 2Unlimited, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Robert Miles and the like to kickstart it off. Come the millennium and DnB/dubstep becomes a thing with trap, garage and more electronic influences being known. :D I was in my teens in the 2000's so I fell in love with DnB and trance to an extent. ^^ Good times indeed! :D

You're lucky to be British for that matter :P I guess the rave culture in UK have been absolutely best way to spend time while being young and energetic :D

Ahaha. :D Well UK gave birth to hooliganism very early on with Sex Psitols, Oasis, Rolling Stones and the like... We definitely had some of that with the UK Rave era, most definitely. I wasn't really a party-goer in my younger years, but definitely went to a few raves with some of insane friends back then. Multicoloured hair and all.

Yeah... Hold Your Colour was the highlight of their career. I mean-- they did some incredible tracks elsewhere like Propane Nightmares, Immunize, Blood Sugar, but it was tracks like The Island and Slam that surmounted some true DnB inspiration definitely. Good times, eh? :D Makes you feel older, but it's one hell of a nostalgia trip to listen to it again. :)

Definitely an experience unlike any other. :D The Prodigy and Knife Party are very similar in this sense - they make some truly incredible stuff. ^^ However, nothing beats the classics like Hold Your Colour. :D

Got a lot of Prodigy in the playlist I linked above. Definitely one of the most technical producers in the industry. They made some fantastic tracks like: Voodoo People (The Pendulum collaboration of this track was amazing!), Don't Stop -- Start the Dance, Omen, Wild Frontier, Smack My Bitch Up, Warrior's Dance, etc... You listen to some incredible stuff, dude. :D
