He is a overwhelming player no matter what gun but his AWP prowess is proven in the clutch situations that he handles many times with ease with the AWP. Obviously, as his role in their team isn't as set to stone the same way GuardiaN's is and he's able to play other weapons more efficiently then GuardiaN which gives him and his team a possibility to use him versatilely. If his case was the same as GuardiaN's where he is more-so forced to play the AWP instead of doing it out of necessity I think s1mple would out-perform GuardiaN even more drastically.
Still after saying all this I want to point out that I do not like him as a person, I still feel a bit of ill will about what he did when he started out professionally and also think there's room to better his attitude. Anyhow, I do respect his skills a lot as through-out my history in the Counter-Strike -series (I started to play in beta 3 when CS was still a mod for Half-Life, pretty much 18 years ago..) I've seen similiar players who have had a extremely high skill ceiling and whom have such a passion for the game that they play enough to hone their personal performance to almost unseen feats and I can recognize these traits in s1mple as a player. He is extremely good, obviously that shines out especially brightly when he has the need to carry his team. It's harder to spot when there's a team that compensates each other in ways that make the game so much smoother, or rather it's harder to display such performances when everyone does their job. That's one of the main points why it's impossible to compare GuardiaN and s1mple in what they do.
