Well tbh DaZeD shouldnt come back as a player if the get unbanned, he should join C9/Liquid etc as a analyst. (Well i guess he could do that now? idk)

Well, sure, if you think so. But they should still not get life bans because of this mate.
2018-02-22 22:58
They threw a match, litteraly the worse thing you can do as a pro apart from cheating. No exception, I'm fine with it. They could have redeemed themselves by acting good after that and they got unbanned by ESL, but DaZed is an ass and gave up quickly after 3 months, putting the nail in the coffin for them

But tournaments decided to let people with VAC come back lol. What logic is that?
2018-02-22 23:24
I don't agree with that either tbh
2018-02-22 23:24
do you dislike them all or just DaZed?
2018-02-22 23:28
Only DaZed Steel looks like a really nice guy imo, I don't care much about Brax and azk but at least they kept playing

You mean for majors? Honestly no, they definitely knew that it was wrong what they were doing, the knew they would get banned if somebody noticed. Cheater, Matchfixer, i don't care both should be banned permanent.

Well yes, all Valve sponsored events. And ofc they knew what they were doing, but getting a life ban because of one(?) throwed match? Thats kinda rough mate. In other games you get 1-2 years.

And they didn't have salary. To be fair, it's sad that they got perma ban, because of this situation.

The thing is that you did something that is clearly against the rules of every competition. And my main problem with throwing isn't even the monetary gain for the team that throws. But rather the impact that thrown game might have on other teams, the tournament bracket, league standings. In addition they also deserve a ban just because of the stupidity to even throw that match, because I'm pretty sure they would have made more in salary by now, than they got through the throw. And just like with cheating for me one of the big points also is, you did it once why wont you do it again? Even though it's less of a factor because with maybe if you are getting banned for cheating you can only play on a pro level because of your cheats. Still I wouldn't really care if they got unbanned, most of them are past their primes anyways so don't think they would be able to do much. Also would have less of a problem with it than with unbanning cheaters.

How come C9 was never banned for the aderall scandal then? They knew it was wrong what they were doing.

for that you have to ask the tournament organizers.

Not even sure if it matter anymore honestly. I doubt any of these players will be relevant again. It’s been too long.

They just showed they can compete when they played Liquid at summit though?

Yeah i guess. All tho i want Swag in Liquid/Renegades (If he got unbanned i dont think he would join C9 since they are doing OK right now, sure Liquid are doing OK as well with NAF)

They did and if they get unbanned theyll get a boost of motivation andconfidence. I dont see why they are stIll banned, in dota 2 solo did thr famous 322 and hes still playong away in majors and vp supposedly also threw match but it never escalated not like unbanning them now would have such a big impact on the scene.

I think all bans should be limited time. This obviously includes players like KQLY because when they come back what tournament organizer would be stupid enough to not monitor them for cheating or throwing or w.e they did again... Besides that they already know they have a tough time playing in teams because reputation. What you are doing with a lifetime is taking their ability to play even at amateur level. Good luck finding a team that would want someone who can't play majors. I am just saying you are taking so much away from players by banning them from all majors for all time even if they had done something wrong.
