how much do you spend overall on clothing? what is the maximum ammount you would spend on a t-shirt/hoodie/jeans? do you care more about quality or brand names or do you not care about that at all?

2018-03-02 13:57
id rather be not popular with the ladies and be happy about my looks than be one of those button up, skinny jeans wearing fagg+ts that i see in my university every day. if you are talking about dressing in a suite every day, i'll be doing that more than enough as soon as i get my diploma
2018-03-02 14:01
Hey you might want to be popular with the guys, who knows. So baggy jeans and hoodies that are 3 sizes too big with a shit logo on it?

2018-03-02 14:03
Daily clothes not much but I spend quite a bit in cycling clothes (above $100 per jersey and $130 on shorts)
2018-03-02 14:04
idk. I buy only puma or adidas T shirts tho. Don't usually buy shirts. If I buy, they are Levi's or tailored by local tailor. Pants are tailored or from flea market. Shorts are just boxers from cheap markets that are usually not made for outdoor wearing but I still do. Hoodies are also adidas/puma. Shoes nike/adidas. Anything else like socks ties kerchiefs etc are from local markets. some puma socks. Never spent more than 87 USD on a single clothing item except shoes. I don't own any suits or coats.
2018-03-02 14:05
for me: 50 euro for a hoodie, most of my jeans cost around 80 euro but i only buy really high quality, i have some for 5 years and they are still fine. tshirts i spend 20 euro max. mosst expensive clothing item i own are jogging shoes with special support for my feet, cost 160 euro but i literally cant run with any other shoes, my feet just hurt like hell
2018-03-02 14:05
Probably around $500 a year on normal clothes, but way too much on suits and shoes.
2018-03-02 14:06
suit life is slave life
2018-03-02 14:09
I just like wearing suits lol. I dont have an office job or any job really since I make my money from leasing out property. I only need a suit since I work with my dad sometimes and need to look professional.

jeans 100$ tshirt 80$ hoodie 100$ shoes 250$
2018-03-02 14:12
why would you spend $80 on a tshirt? You can buy 4 shirts for that much and nobody will be able to tell the difference
2018-03-02 14:15
i can afford. also, some brand t-shirts are really good for example, a good leather jacket is 300$+
2018-03-02 14:17
a leather jacket for 300 i understand but $80 for a single tshirt is just stupid.

Usually get like Carharrt jeans cos they last forever. They can be anything from £60-130. T-shirts upto like 50, same with shirts. Hoodies probably the same. Spend more on a decent coat but don't buy them often. Shoes I'll pay upto 150 probably. Not gonna spend all day clicking refresh to try and cop the new Supreme tshirt that's overpriced shit for sheep following faggots
2018-03-02 14:13
No idea about yearly expenses. Except maybe for suits or leather jackets, I wont spend much. T-Shirt : 20€ max | Jean : 100€ max | Hoodie : 50€ max I don't follow fashion much (imo current makes guy look like beta males), I always value quality and comfort over brand.
2018-03-02 14:17
+1 beta males everywhere. All dressed the same in what looks like ladies leggings and shirts too small for them cos they want to make their tiny muscles look bigger

2018-03-02 16:26
average 50$ every year + 80-100$ if I need new sneakers
2018-03-02 16:32
10$ last year i just traded my way to new clothes, can't afford clothes atm. no limit, if i like it enough to pay the price i will, but usually i wont pay more than 120$ for a hoodie/t-shirt, and 200$ for jeans unless it's some special release or something i have been looking for. Don't care for brand really, i like brand names but design is the important part, i got alot of clothes i payed under $3 for but also have designer items from Louis Vuitton and Ferragamo
2018-03-03 09:48
Idk I rarely buy stuff but when I do i'd like it to be good quality but not insanely overpriced. Just now i've bewn thinking of buying a hoodie from this site (it's called hoodieboss). They have some pretty edgy designs on some of them but i've found pretty cool ones as well.

i completely dont care about that, I think its a waste of time spent time in clothes' shops. Sometimes my mom came home saying "I bought u something" and if them fit my size i take these stuffs...otherwise I buy on internet (shoes mostly). Btw I wear clothes that i bought years ago because they still fit me.
2018-03-03 09:56
Something between 10k or 50k a year. I don't care about brand only quality. But since a most of my stuff is tailored I guess I'm out of this topic (and that's explain the price). The only regular T shirt I wear are american apparel so it's cheap. About regular jeans, Japan jeans mostly but not only, brands like The Flat head, APC or Acne. Price around 200 with 50 for my tailor to adjust it.
2018-03-03 14:51
I dont really spend that much on clothing, if it looks nice & cheap ill buy it.

T-shirts and jeans? Cheap stuff, Zara H&M or whatever. The only things I find worthy investing are: - shoes (classic shoes/sports) - 1 suit (every man should have at least one good suit) - watches (I have a couple but I would say that at least 2 (one classic and one casual) are essential to every guy.
