No ERA = BEST ERA

New teams winning tourneys despite them winning is not fully expected is much much better than a team winning tourney after tourney. Current era is the best

This is a sweet time in CSGO close to parity, reminds me of baseball in America. Love it

Indeed. It's good to watch matches not knowing who gonna win.
2018-03-05 00:55
not really knowing who gonna win but knowing that a lot of teams can win
2018-03-05 00:56
but its always whoever 2nd Plaze clan plays against that will win :/

FaZe lost to NaVi and Liquid at Starladder so not even a 2nd place finish ... (not even a 3rd)

C9 winning the Major wasn't expected. Liquid winning Summit despite being 1-0 down (map advantage for C9) vs C9 wasn't expected at all. Mouz winning Starladder wasn't expected, but the fact that this team is improving week after week made it only a matter of time before Mouz would reach (and even win) a final. Fnatic winning Katowice wasn't expected AT ALL after losing 0-3 at Kiev ...

Add NaVi and Astralis to the teams that could (should ?) win one big event in the next couple months. + NiP or G2 as unlikely but possible winners ...
2018-03-05 01:04
I will have you know that the only major pickem for the playoffs that I got wrong was the QBF vs NaVi because I forgot QBF was a bo1 team

You had C9 winning the Major from which point ? When the playoffs were drawn or before the beginning of the Major (and not fully out of patriot mindset i mean) ? Congrats if so.
2018-03-05 01:06
Well I said once when C9 went 3-0 to my friends that they were winning but I was skeptical myself but after they made the playoffs I fully believed they could do it because 1: G2 is an unstable team. 2: They have beaten SK/Done well against Fnatic and 3 because no matter who they were against, they didn't have jetlag and NA is shit with jet lag

Nice i see that some american really believed in C9 at the Major (like stunna that said that he had the winner of C9/G2 winning the Major and on another message he had C9 winning that game)
2018-03-05 01:14
I'm still mad that I was 1 match wrong on the pick ems playoffs
2018-03-05 01:23
One of these tournament wins is not like the other No offense but cs summit isnt really.... important in the grand scheme of things

Liquid gets top 4 finishes consistently though.

I'm not discounting their top 4's. Im just saying winning cs summit shouldnt be in the same list as Starladder and Katowice

Of course. Still they beat the other 2 top NA teams and probably took the number 1 spot since.

I know Major matters a lot (i feel like you consider C9 as number 1 because to me it's obvious that SK isn't #1 NA) but Liquid has more regularity.
2018-03-05 01:23
I don't even consider SK NA so even if SK were still on top of NA, I wouldn't consider them #1 NA. I think the Starladder fumble was a huge stain on C9's image to people and everyone forgets in the grand scheme of things that C9 made a ton of top 4 finishes, THEN won the major, then had a bad event, then eliminated SK Gaming in a bo3 on lan just to have to face the best team in the world and the team that would go on to place 2nd place. It skews the image a bit when Liquid have been doing nothing outside of quarter finals and semifinals appearances and winning the small cs summit lan
2018-03-05 01:26
Mouz I predicted I bet in them to win from the start. But I always predict them to do cos that's who I support so I have been wrong alot more than right on that one lol I predicted liquid to beat c9 at summit. Other ones I didn't make any predictions and would of got them wrong if I did

GG for Liquid > C9 prediction at Summit (especially with 0-1 map deficit), it was to me only a matter of time before seeing Mouz on a final (or even win it), they should have won (to me at least) that BO5 final vs FaZe (can't remember the name of the tourney)
2018-03-05 01:26
Yeh I thought they'd win that too but like you said it was just a matter of time. Hopefully many more semi final and final matches in the future.

The team is still fairly new. They will be gods again when the second major comes around. I just hope C9 also get their shit together in time so they can match them

Probably worst time to bet. Pro tip: Don't do CS:GO betting anymore! Just a waste of time and money.

why ? just stop betting overdogs like a fucking spastic.
2018-03-05 01:11
The problem in this era is: There is no "Underdogs" or "Overdogs" anymore. If anyone can beat anyone in any matches, then there is no definition of "Overdogs" or "Underdogs". You are living in 2015. Welcome to 2018 where you bet on random teams and wish for the best. Your definition is in the past, you have to evolve.

??? fnatic were clearly the underdogs here. just like liquid were against c9. and c9 was against faze.
2018-03-05 02:14
In this era, everyone can beat everyone at any days. There is no underdogs or overdogs anymore. That's why you see different winners and different losers in every matches and tournament and it has been like this for a while now. You are still stucking in 2015 dude. You should erase those terms of underdogs and overdogs and the earlier you do that, the better.

I don't think you understand the meaning of underdog in betting fnatic had 2.2x payout while faze only had 1.5x payout on EGB, therefor fnatic were the underdogs on EGB. It doesn't mean it's the best team, it just means if there is a decent difference in odds the underdog is the one that pays out more.
2018-03-05 10:42
It's not only about the odds but about the chances the teams are winning or not. Since nowadays, it's rather 50 / 50 chances, then there is no point to bet since this is just Russian Roulette. Back in the days, the odds could be even much higher than now (The betting companies know that teams nowadays are more similar in skills than before a few years back. The gap is closing in) and therefore you could put some very small bet and still get high payout if it goes your way. But that thing doesn't work anymore. The definition of overdog and underdog has changed during the years. Again you are still using the terms from 2015. You are not hanging round the meta at all. Don't live in the past man.

bruh you are honestly dumb. if you think the odds are 50/50 and the betting sites are giving you 65/35 how the fuck can you not make money ? bet on the 35 and on the longe run you will get a ton of money.
2018-03-05 15:19
Back in the days, there were "safe picks" in bo3 where you could put a lot into it. Or you could ICB on very high odd - so just put some skins you don't care about and less valuable stuff and if the underdogs can beat in bo1 then you will gain a lot. But nowadays, there are no safe bets anymore = removed already one option. ICB doesn't work anymore because there are less chance to get good odds since betting websites are not stupid. They have their sites to earn money and not there to give you free charity. They will not put high odds when the chances for teams to win / lose is 50 /50 rather than before back in the days. You think they are stupid or what? They are businessman and YOU are the fool here who went for their traps. Good luck wasting your money! I'm pretty sure you are still living in denial of year 2015. I think the "discussion" can end here because I think you are living in your bubble world so it's kinda hard to open eyes for 2018. Your case is hopeless.

nah you just can't adapt to betting. more upsets = bet on underdog more. I made decent profit before betting on fnatic because they rarely lost. also made money from old astralis lineup when they were underrated. recently made a ton of profit betting on underdogs on the major BO1's. you just have to adapt and know how to bet, it's still profitable but it's not for everyone.
2018-03-05 16:03
Betting is not giving so much income anymore. It's even better to just go for bit coin & mining now when it's hype before it's dying out and cash out. Bigger money and good time to cash out. Less unpredictable than those CS:GO matches where teams are choking left and right.

The next major will probably be the best major for all of Csgo. I mean look at the legends spots from last major. C9, Faze, G2, Fnatic, Navi, Mouse, SK. I wouldn't be surprised if they all won an event by the time the next major roles around.

Adrian "Era" Kryeziu is a Swedish professional Dota 2 player who is currently playing for The Final Tribe. Adrian was one of the youngest professional HoN players. After making a name for himself in the scene with teams like "Dirty Minds", "Lions eSportKlubb" and "KD-Gaming" he was picked up by Fnatic.[1] He transitioned with the team to Dota 2, primarily playing the carry role. On August 20, 2014, he left Fnatic.EU, marking the first player transfer from the team in two years.

Have to agree. This competitive era is making me watch almost all tournaments, something I didn't before because I really had a good idea of who was going to win when. Edge of the seat all the time, absolutely perfect.

In terms of only watching yes,but it's so fucking irritating when you have post match interviews with the winners

Yeah, no team just enough better than others so it is more about who is playing well atm rather than one team winning most of events for months or something xd...

Yes cuz u never know whos gonna win and this is really good cs no1 is dominating anything you can never expect someone to win the tournement
2018-03-05 01:30
Agreed. Any one of perhaps 5 or 6 teams can hit a streak and win any tournament. Really is the most interesting time in CS.
