talk about trash in rivers and talk about not rivers but things around it, and even if you dont know talk talk talk, so retards in audience will think that you really know what you talking about

i take geography aswell LOL what do you have to do in ur talk, talk about stories of lakes or features of lakes because if its features talk about the meander, vegetation, any man made structutes to maybe limit the river, talk about the location(eg urban) if its about stories of the river i have nofucking clue. the thames used to freeze over like thousands of years ago at winter and they would have like a parade on the ice

well, the subject is called "history and culture of english speaking countries" in general it takes a brief look at history, culture, politics, geography etc of countries that use english as an official language. so basically it aims to provide basic knowledge about these countries this semester we are talking about the uk now, about my report. there are no rules besides it has to be around 5 minutes and information should be spoken by heart, not read. the content is up for reporter to decide. so i dont wanna go with boring shit like "the deepest one is that, the longest one is this", instead id like to choose several rivers/lakes which have something interesting to say about them, a story/myth or some sights.

There is a big river/estuary called Humber. It has a big bridge over it.

There is the Humber and the Ouse, Lakes such as Windermere and Ullswater in Cumbria. Loch Ness and the river forth in Scotland ( maybe mention the cool firth of forth bridge? )
