When I speak of political stability, I am referring to the fact that there is a consistency of elections. For example, in Brazil, we once again became a democracy in fact and in law in 1988. Since then, we have periodic elections. It is a must have for a nation that wants to have a full democracy, even though we choose poor politicians. It is not just about becoming a democracy from one day to the next, but rather having a constancy of elections and an alternation of power.
