This site used to be a reliable source of information about CS and CS teams. Now most news are rumors made from players tweets and what these leaking guys said.

I have to agree with you. For example if I created a website and said that coldzera was leaving sk, hltv may say that as well. I think hltv should only post news that have happened already.
2018-03-30 13:16
no, hltv wouldn't because you are not a reliable source. nel, dekay are reliable sources. you also have to understand the difference between a rumor and a report a rumor literally means the spread of made up information. a report means that negotiations are going on, its only likely they will stop or will be successful

but sometimes reports don't pass and rumours are real. I don't know how hltv judges a site between reliable and not
2018-03-30 13:20
yes, a deal is equally likely to take place or not, those sometimes you are talking about, the negotiations simply failed, and a rumor refers to information from an unreliable source, the chances of them becoming real is low those sites are reliable, even you have to agree on that, they are run by trustworthy e-sports journalists and reporters who almost always report the truth :p so i find it no reason whatsoever for hltv not to publish these reports
2018-03-30 13:24
A report made out of rumor is still a rumor. Hltv care about clicks only now, guess csgofast is not paying that much xD

If you think the Xizt report or any other report we have done is based on rumours, you have no idea what you're talking about
2018-03-30 13:30
Yes in that article there's in a source only about skadoodle. So yea, stop talking about rumors and do proper articles based on facts after changes being confirmed.
2018-03-30 13:44
It's clearly stated in the header that the report is based on information we have gathered. If you don't trust us as a source, why do you visit our site?
2018-03-30 13:46
I visit hltv to see matches/results. But there articles are going in wrong direction. "report is based on information we have gathered" Information from where? From random people? This is not how reliable informarions looks like. Or atleast tell to all people out here how you're getting those informations.
2018-03-30 13:48
It's not from random people, I can assure you that. Very reliable sources, which I can't name. But if you visit our site, I expect you to trust the quality of the people who work for it ;)
2018-03-30 13:52
It's not how it works. These "reliable sources" can fool you and you won't even see that because you "believe them". Imo you shouldn't do reports like that as long as you don't have informations straight from the players/orgs that are involved in it. Also, why you are going for xizt in title when info about him going to c9 is from your source (which is anonymous) instead of going for Skadoodle in the title when you have a source to that information?? Clickbaits? No, thanks. At least people could not blame you for fake info if you would talk about skadoodle in first place because that was made on another article. But now if xizt won't go to c9..... Hate is on you hltv.
2018-03-30 13:58
I heard it from more than one source and first heard about it last night (before the rumours started circulating), and I took the time to double check with other sources, who confirmed the exact same thing. I don't understand what you mean about Skadoodle. That part did not come from me, I merely mentioned that there are reports out there that say he is leaving the team.
2018-03-30 13:59
About Skadoodle: I mean that article should be based on him because you have non anonymous source to that information. Meanwhile I see Xizt in the title where you have "some" informations from "some" sources and there's only short part about Ska. For me it's just a bait title. I can understand that you as a csgo site want to go with some informations as fast as possible so that's why you're going for your sources. But I think it would be better to keep working on confirmed informations. Or just wait for a moment to see how it will go. Less people hating > more people happy with high quality articles > hltv as 100% reliable source of information. Leave rumors to some randoms like dekay.
2018-03-30 14:07
I'm sorry, but I still don't understand the connection between Skadoodle and Xizt. Why should I report on Skadoodle and not on Xizt because the first one comes from another media outlet and the second one comes from our own sources? Sorry to say, but this is HLTV.org, the biggest website about Counter-Strike, so you should trust the reporters' sources.
2018-03-30 14:28
No, I shouldn't trust something just because it is "the biggest". I should trust because it's trustworthy. And by reading last few articles... you're not. If you think otherwise.... that's your problem. And to first question. If you go for ska report and it will not going to happend = It's not your fault, your article was based on some other site and they were wrong. If you go for Xizt report and it will fail = It's all your fault because that's YOUR magical soruce so you're respoinsible for spreading fake news.

These roster change news are becoming more and more shitty and ridiculous. I'm seriously going to be surprised if even one of these roster changes happen.

Reported. Obviously untrue given they report talks about rosters from teams themselves. Rumours or not, that is why it states "report" and lists the details within. Don't date berate the writers of HLTV.Org just because you are not smart enough to read the post in it's entirety. Have a good day.
