I am a fan of SS but 2-0 for them is too hard to be sure about...

I think FaZe and Space Soldiers will make it to the final. I know SS is a bit of a wild card, but their explosion in performance has been insane, we'll see how well they do at LAN
2018-04-16 14:01
I am so glad SS is your favorite but all I pray for is semifinal
2018-04-16 14:03
Honestly, I think they can go to the final, but I have to give the tournament to FaZe.
2018-04-16 14:04
GIVE TO TOURNAMENT TO FAZE?!
2018-04-16 14:55
With xizt? Okay, ambitious.
2018-04-16 15:00
They wont win the tournament. Faze is shit

Actually they have the potential for doing a final. Plus because of Maj3r the public will be for them if they don't fight against G2 and NV.

NiP > SK Astralis > SS Astralis are the favorite for winning the event bro.

I just don't believe in Astralis. They are so underwhelming honestly :S
2018-04-16 14:03
bo1 ast -cobble -cache -mirage ss -overpass -nuke -train? map: inferno (or train unlikely) ast destroyed ss on inferno a week ago i dont see why that wont happen again ast great on train
2018-04-16 14:08
That's what I have for veto prediction as well, but with SS stepping up bigtime on Train lately, I think they'll rather take that than Inferno. IDK, gonna be interesting for sure!

Ss is not that good, they have to improve but they can get out of group easily i think
2018-04-16 14:03
SS have already shown insane improvement, going out as number 1 in EPL this season was definitely no easy task!

It was online, we dont know much about in lan but major and wesg was good
2018-04-16 14:06
Yeah, they are sort of my wild card in this tournament, but I honestly believe they can get far! Time will tell :)
2018-04-16 14:07
If RNG can make top 8 at starladder, SS surely can make top8 here right?
2018-04-16 15:18
it was because they faced HR at 2-2 and HR picked Nuke and didn't ban Cache
2018-04-16 15:22
i dont care about this lame ass tournament
2018-04-16 14:04
Then why are you here? xD

Faze wins

Notice how I didn't say the Renegades would win? I will fully admit that Renegades will likely lose however NaVi beating Fnatic would require a terrible showing from Fnatic or some other NaVi players becoming less useless.

I don't think they can do it without Stewie, and with Ska on low morale

Ska on low morale? He’s been playing great and he got a new contract. He will tear it up. And Stew wasn’t that important. -aim +brain was what the team needed.
2018-04-16 14:23
Ska getting booted from C9, then brought back only because their other plans didn't work out. I don't think he's playing on 100% due to that, but obviously I hope he shows up so we get a more interesting game ;)

I'd say Astralis are favored over Space Soldiers but other than that, pretty good predictions.

2018-04-16 14:22
SS is kind of my wild card in this tournament ;)
2018-04-16 14:31
Yeh it's tempting at times. I've done it before and lost a couple gold trophies on Pick 'Em from it :D Maybe they will perform on LAN this time.
2018-04-16 14:33
Time will tell! Honestly, I'm looking forward to this tournament, there's potential of incredibly interesting matches for sure!

They will go 3-0 in maps in the group im calling it now. Gambit is playing way below standards atm so they will probably lose the group. Liquid is in a weird place transitioning from one Bot brazilian to antoher one. SS is in good shape but Astralis destroyed them like 10 days ago and Astralis are looking to be in an even better shape than SS. Plus the morale in Astralis is on a high having qualified for both EPL and ECS finals last week.

Actually really good predictions. I hope they come true for you, friend. :) Will you be casting any of these games in the off-stream, GieTe?
2018-04-16 14:57
Unfortunately I havn't been able to make an agreement with Dreamhack, and I believe they have their own on-site talent for all matches :)

Shame... :( I know it's mainly ESL that allow the off-stream casting, DreamHack has always been much more management heavy, but at the same time I'm happy all of the matches are casted by very professional people all the same. :) I guess you can have the pleasure of watching this one, eh? Honestly I'm super-psyched for this event outright... Tons of talent, easy upsets, no predetermined winners by default - classic CS:GO at it's finest which should be incredible to watch. I have my own predictions also, but their way more biased than your own fair ones unfortunately... xD
2018-04-16 15:03
Honestly, I'm super exited for this event as well. I feel like it has potential to show some incredible CS ;)

I love events with SO much stacked talent that the winner is practically unprecedented and ultimately, unaccountably undecided. :D For example: Tier 2/Tier 3 events that only have one or two top-talent teams in them is a given for the winner, but events like this is like a battle-royal of the best in the world. Well - I'm rambling and would probably have your ear off all-day. I hope your predictions come true, fingers crossed I can see you casting in the future and I wish you well, GeiTe. :)

Space Soldiers? I absolutely love them... One of the strongest individually-talented teams in CS right now, they could be so good if they could just put their indomitable Counter-Strike in LAN. I've had XANTARES as one of the most skilled players in the world for a while now, but unlike s1mple, coldzera, NiKo (etc...), XANTARES' results are that of online-only. I think SS has the potential to be a very devastating team if they out their hearts into it. Yourself? Are they an upset-potential team to you or do you think they can achieve great things?

I pretty much agree with you :D I think they have insane potential and are the team that is improving the most right now. They have really good firepower and Maj3r improved an insane amount as IGL. SS is starting to play better and better(I think that they are tier 1 at Cache and Cobble rn) If they can transfer the performance on that maps to others as well i can see them being top 5 in the future.

It used to just be the XANTARES show, now EVERYONE on SS is showing up to frag. ngiN used to be the weakest fragger, now he's nuts. SS are all working in tandem with XANTARES and EPL has shown they look insanely strong as of right now. Glad you agree with me. :D Have a good day. ^^

2018-04-16 15:24
Initial Matches: FaZe > EnVyUs; Mousesports > Valiance; Cloud9 < G2; SK > NiP; Fnatic > TyLoo; Liquid > Gambit; Natus Vincere > Renegades; Astralis > Space Soldiers; Elimination matches: Cloud9 > EnVyUs; NiP > Valiance; Renegades < TyLoo; Space Soldiers > Gambit; Group winner matches: G2 < FaZe; Mousesports < SK; Natus Vincere > Fnatic; Liquid < Astralis; Group decider matches: C9 < G2; Mousesports > NiP ; Fnatic > TyLoo; Liquid < Space Soldiers; Winner of DH SK or Astralis (my opinion). About 75 percent will happen. GL in bets.
