I got around 30 friendinvites by scambots or "tradebots" in the last 2 months. Why do they still exist? Do actually people fall for that or are interested getting their stuff scammed? examples steamcommunity.com/profiles/765611983964.. steamcommunity.com/id/Alice67124 steamcommunity.com/id/zzz20102

At first it was funny to have these in your friendlist, but now it's just straight up annoying to get 1-2 invites the day.

I don't care anymore and just let them be and I have like 20 pending invites. The problem is just that I don't know if a real person sends one.

It's annoying as fuck, even though my profile is private they still spam their invites.

these are bots, they probable go through steamgroups or friendlists and invite people randomly. Doesn't matter if you have your profile on private sadly.
