If you're looking for a pair of headsets good for gaming but also have good sound, look at the cloud alphas. Their bass isn't stupid high like other gaming headsets and the dual chamber thing inside gives them really good sound. The mids and highs are also really good and they sound so clear when listening to music.

AudioTechnica is great stuff. I have Beyerdynamic DT770, but that's a bit more expensive

If you ever think about In-Ear plugs I'd suggest Razer Hammerhead prov2.

"gaming" term is used to sell stuff, most of these "GAMING" headphones sound like shit, but you learn a new thing or two everyday, no one was born with knowledge
2018-04-17 13:56

its actually a headphone he llinkd:P
2018-04-17 13:56
First of all he said headphones, not headsets. Also audiotechnica that he linked are a serious audio company, not some gaming company selling overpriced stuff
2018-04-17 13:58
yes I've only ever tried M series from AT but these should be good too go for it

Ahah, something like that xD but no man, the mic is very nice and the sound is very good, i can (in csgo) ear steps from way far as my friends with other brand headsets
2018-04-18 11:55
Haven't heard them, but I'm sure they're good. They look like they're open back which is generally good for gaming (often better sound stage) and they look more comfortable than most of audiotechnica like the overhyped ath-m50x's.

Only heard good things about audio technica, safe buy for sure and since they're good for music they must be also good for gaming, if you're looking for the "bassy boxy" headset gaming sound you can just mess around with the equalizer

I highly recommend the Hyper X cloud II’s and the Corsair Voids. I have used both and they are both great.

But they can be used for csgo right
2018-04-17 20:21
Then you will need one of those stereo microphones geeky-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/201..
2018-04-17 20:31
if it's mainly for CS just find a headset that's comfy and that wont break if you throw it lol, sounds in CS are shit anyways. If you play more "cinematic" games like battlefield and shit just add some bass with your sound card options and you're good to go. Expensive headsets make no sense for gaming because you'll almost never need the quality that you need for music
