Well that's partly wrong. What you're paying for in "premium" motherboards, in Z/X370 for example, are sound chips, SLI-support, useless heat sinks, visual lightning etc.
There are sub $130 motherboards already with 10-phase power control and japcaps, that's all you need for OC. When OC goes wrong, it doesn't kill the CPU or RAM these days, only resets to default. Dedicated sound cards are always better than integrated and SLI is becoming a completely useless gimmick, not to speak of lightning.
Simply claiming that "every 200 euro M/B can OC well" is total bullshit.
