Poor student is like -1k honestly.
Fuckin kid with dad's money, in search of attention.
I suggest ZAZ russian supercar. You can even see them nowadays in the streets so they are very reliable. If I'm not mistaken it has its engine in the trunk - interesting design solution. With a shipment from Russia your budget should be enough.
A Japanese car and tune it

As much HP as possible. >
Talking from expirience, at one point hp is overrated
what if i tell you that not only HP gives speed ?
10k beat up sports car is a moneydrain. Nobody buys a powerfull car to drive nice, they are pretty much done at that price range. I'd stay away from models that were really expensive brand new, you'll spend the car's worth in expensive repairs. A good sportscar also usually has quite frequent service intervals, my friend changed the oil on his Evo Lancer every 7500 km for example. It all adds up. Only consider if you have the tools, time and knowledge to do most of the repairs yourself.
Audi A3 or volkswagen golf
you can buy a really nice car for less than 5k that will get a lot of mileage. cheap cars with lots of horse power sound nice but you pay more for gas and it will break down more often and you cant go faster than 120kph anyway.
haven't read the whole thread, but BMW 335 or 535 2010 onwards, close to 300hp never ending torque and 30-40mpg
best of everything
>as much as HP possible
i guess you're not just poor, but stupid as well
For 10k get a cheap compact Toyota, they last forever and have good and low mantainance, a Nisan also is good. Also if your are lucky enough to find a good japanese second-hand car give it a go. Just remember if not diesel try to go for a long run with high gear once a month.
PD: if you want to look badass just get this; Toyota Corolla or Nissan 240SX if you want a car you can trash. (for both cars replacements are expensive)
PD2: just go for the toyota corolla and get that initial D badass in motion
Toyota Corolla is $2,500 - $4,500
Nisan 24SX$1,200 - $5,000
both US dollar
so you can save for your student loand or hoes and not blow 10k
poor student but got 10k to waste to car lul? why not just get some cheap car that u dont need to be repairing all the time, is cheap and doesnt use much fuel lol
I just checked australian car prices we are buying cars here 2 times expensive than australia :(((
btw what u mean by HP, not english as native language here
Apparently 10k student is poor. You have no clue what a ''poor student'' is honestly.
also a Subaru WRX or Nissan 300ZX TT would be good but you are looking to blow the 10k here because at least 7000 usd + 1000-2000 or + usd to make it road ready
Bitch poor student with 10k on car? I drive a4 2000 1.8 gas. 10 fucking k. Go fuck yourself.

Civic hatch + Ebay turbo. With the money it saves, you can get a new engine every other week.
