C9 Vs Faze inferno

Have watched this over and over still gives me goosebumps. 15-11 down. The best cs game I'll ever watch and the most improbable win. If they don't win another game I couldn't care less I'll hang my hat on this major win for the rest of my life. Feel free to throw salt, major champions 2k18 baaaayyyybbbyyyyy!!!!

Faze 3-0 Liquid in New York. Just another fluke second place tournament by Liquid.

I should have gone, Boston is not far from me. I think I will volunteer to work at the big events in New York and Atlanta this year so I can get in for free

NA CS not interesting at all
2018-05-24 02:01
NA CS is more interesting than EU imo because NA players make stupidest moves that make the game more entertaining
2018-05-24 02:44
Not even dumb actually, dumb and funny would be them buying negevs and shit but their CS is kinda boring and bad.

The arena was fucking incredible during that game. I've never felt more energy in one place. It was so amazing that losing the game as a FaZe fan wasn't really too upsetting (and also how incredible the series was to watch)

I mean no one. Literally no one expected them to win. Up against g2 then sk then faze. Improbable.

fnatic vs NiP kato15 was still better. Also VP vs SK at cologne 2016 was a underrated match
2018-05-24 08:48
It's the biggest upset is CS major history. It's not even close. No ONE except for NA hopefuls were calling for C9 to even beat G2 much less SK. At the time after they beat G2 people were surprised but not shocked. Everyone figured SK would go on to continue their dominance of Faze afterwards. Really what happened is 2015 Skadoodle showed up. The rest of the C9 lineup is/was pretty damn talented. But that day the missing piece showed up. It's for that reason I really think C9 needs to drop Ska. Even if it's for a good rifler. He's supposed to be the star of this team and he's only better then FNS by a small amount. FNS probably needs to go as well but the team seems to have faith so I'll roll with it for now. Autimatic and Tarik have proven they are amoung the elite playing this game. Doesn't make them good player pickers but if this is who they want to roll with for the time being then that's fine.

Yes I tend to agree. The problem lies in the good replacements. They're tied to their orgs, I'm sure they could be had for a cost (nifty, elige etc) but the $$ would be massive on their buy out's. I get the feeling our owner is a little tight.
2018-05-24 22:29
Major and cs_summit2, the only 2 international tournaments won by na teams in 6 months, clearly the major was a fluke, faze choked as usual and c9 played good, thats it. Its like saying NIP is top 1 team cuz they won IEM oakland 2 times in a row
2018-05-24 08:56
You act like this diminishes the major win. It doesn't.
2018-05-24 10:29
No, its just 1 win in a big tournament, but after that... c9 is nothing right now, they reached a peak performance and won, thats good, but teams like astralis are capable of playing with (at least) good performance consistently, and thats something that no NA team is showing at the moment, SK is the only team with a consistent and good performance from america(North and south), but that "era" ended in 2017.
2018-05-24 13:13
Liquid should be good all year. Won Summit, got two top 4s and took a map of Astralis something no one else can do right now. I'd say they are pretty good and way underrated in their current placement in the top ten. C9 could be good if they made a roster move that made sense. C9 was good since the Tarik/Rush move til the major also. Stop making up fake history. They were winning smaller tournaments and placing top 4 at large ones all the way til the run up to the actual event. Unless you are talking about like sustained 1-2 year dominance in which case there's been like two or three teams that have ever done that. Really just Fnatic and SK actually.

Factually correct. They were on a roll and the major was the cherry on top.
