Both 6 cores and u get almost same fps with them u should look for better gpu(1070)
2018-05-25 21:38
i'm very happy with the 8400, the factory turbo mode is all you need, runs nice with stock cooling too

You'll get MUCH better FPS in games with the 8400 and a better GPU than the 8700k and a worse GPU. 8400 is the best price/performance cpu, especially for games.

no, seriously - 8700K is hot as fuck, how is it supposed to be cooled in that micro case? instead he goes for an overpriced ssd, what are people thinking when they choose such components?

yeah i remember that
2018-05-25 22:13
its not overpriced at all , just check the read/write speed
2018-05-25 21:43
who the fuck cares, why is it that important for you? ssd will never be able to fully compensate for the lack of RAM, check the speeds of ddr4-3000 and any ssd as for a good case - fractal design meshify c is not bad and costs not much at all
2018-05-25 22:13
or give me an example of a good case pls D:

Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon RAM: G.Skill F4-3000C16D-16GISB or 2 * Samsung M378A1K43BB2-CRC (instead of BB2 it may be BB1) and overclock them manually PSU: Corsair RM650i

i am using same shit as u its solid build temps are fine and fking smooth as fk gaming +everything else you might consider changing that 1060 to 1070or 1080 or wait for the next few months for the next gen nvidia gpu's
2018-05-25 21:39
thanks , im only wondering if its gonna fit in that case?

are you sure about that mini atx motherboard? and the microatx mini case? that cooler and the graph card arent that small, should be a tight fit imo. you should look up on yt just to make sure. other than that, i think its fine, maybe change the gpu to 1070 or 1080 but, its up to you.
2018-05-25 21:55
- this mobo +asrock z370 extreme4 -asus gpu + asus OC one with 3fans (best 1060) / EVGA /// GTX 1070

Get a ryzen 5 2600x way cheaper and is in terms of fps the same as your current build.
2018-05-25 21:58
Do you have in mind to overclock the cpu?
2018-05-25 21:58
i dont want it in turbo , just a regular gaming pc XD
2018-05-25 22:16
Think you might need a better cooler not sure tho, and i would recommend builing in a Atx case
