If you have a 32-bit chip or less than 2 GB of RAM, then there is no choice: your system will normally work only 32-bit OS.
If you have a 64-bit processor and 2 GB of RAM, install the 64-bit version of Windows

-In the "search programs and files" search bar, type "system"

- Copy and paste the name of your processor
