If he starves himself and lose weight to fast he will not only go up that weight again when he starts to eat his normal food again but also lose muscle mass. If you do -1000 kcal of your calorie intake you can lose up to 1kg off fat per week, in 2 months that is 8kg. If he is 186cm tall his normal weight should be 80-90kg depending if he gyms and has alot of muscle etc, he can reach his ideal weight in 3 months by cutting -1000 and eating healthy without starving your body. Of course there's no such thing as "you won't lose fat if you take in 2000kcal, only if you reduce it to 1500". It's all very hypothetical. Depending on what you burn, that could be very true but it could also be very wrong. You'd have to make an assumption on how much he burns in order to state something like that and assumptions aren't always accurate. You can burn all the way from 100 to 800 extra calories in a day depending on your activity and those 700 calories in between make such a difference.

Calories in calories out. It doesn't matter what you are eating if you are over eating you won't lose weight. However eating "clean" will aid you. Running is just a tool to boost calories out. It's not necessary and it won't make or break you but if you have trouble reducing food intake it's a valuable tool. Lifting will help you put on muscle as well. I spent a year losing 60+ lbs and found myself going from thinking skinny was the goal and just moving the goalpost to something more.

Yeah, as mentioned above. Ideally no sugar, no sweet drinks, whole foods, don't fall for the diet versions of food, no alcohol etc. Try some HIIT cardio (just google it), it's way more effective way to burn fat. Targeted fat loss doesn't exist and belly is the last to go :)

As others have stated, running will not get you far. It's mostly about what you eat. Sugar + fat is the worst combination, ie. chocolate, sweet pastries etc. Focus especially cutting sugar. I'd also avoid beer and bread. You can reduce fat intake but that's typically not the biggest issue.

That isn't intermittent fasting. If you do intermittent fasting, basically you open up a window of time for yourself to eat, which is generally from 5 to 8 hours and you can eat whenever you want as long as it is inside this window. It consists of not having any calorie intake for the other part of the day (16 to 19 hours in this case).

Well yea as I said it's efficient and will get the job done but it's not as easy as it seems. If not eating for 24h is already a nightmare, try not chewing anything for a week straight (say you fast for a week in this case). As if that wasn't enough, maintaining your weight after finishing the water fast will be an even harder task because once you start eating afterwards, your bad habits will come with it and you'll rapidly put your weight back (happens in the majority of cases, there are exceptions, of course) and it takes a whole lot of determination and mental strength. But well, if you've got that, I believe you're in a decent position to give it a try...

You didn't tell us for how long you have been at it. Give it some time, if you run and hit the gym sometimes you will increase your base metabolism + burn calories while doing it. There is no fucking way you would stay the same after a while. I lost 18 kg in around 45 days while i changed weigh class on purpose, if you don't lose weigh and train + don't eat shit you are baiting.

Manage your calorie intake. Know what to eat and when to eat. If you say you jog I'm gonna assume you have an active lifestyle, so problem might be your diet. Fat loss will happen once you burn more than you eat and given the fact that you burn at least some, i'd recommend keeping an eye on your calorie intake. Hit more vegetables and protein, avoid carbs at night (don't get rid of them). Some carbs do have qualities. Rice for instance if one of the cleanest power supplies and will help you burn fat throughout your day. At nights though, you're not as nearly as active and these carbs will transform into fat easily. Protein and vegetables on the other hand won't affect your weight in a negative way. Also, drink a lot of water. Water fights hunger and will make you hit the toilet more times than usual, which is also a way of expelling toxins.

did you hear about caloric deficit? you have to calculate your daily caloric needs to keep your weight and remove 300-500cals from it. 0.5-1kg per week is ''healthy'' losing weight. of course on caloric deficit you will lose fat with some muscles but if you want to keep most of your muscles remember about protein. 1.5g-2g per kg is minimum.

Track your calories. Say your maintenance (the amount of food you eat in one day to stay the same weight) is 3000 calories. Then simply eat 2500. And don't focus to much on running. Yeah sure, a few times a week will make it easier, but if you run too much, or work out to heavy, you'll only get jaded, and either start eating more, or just feel like crap. You want to sustain this shit, meaning you can't hate every day while you're losing weight. Get a gym membership, start working out with weights. Squats, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder press, hangups (or alternatives). Focus on these, and add a few more after a while. This will make it easier, and you'll feel stronger while still losing weight. Most important, don't go to crazy with the food. But if you are 150 kg, mostly fat, you can easily lose 1 kg a week, without feeling too bad. It's aaall about the food. If you struggle, eat a little bit more each day (always be in a deficit).

You will weight all the food u eat. With time you will learn how to estimate when u r eating out. 3- Join a Gym. Go at least 4 times per week. Work out hard, always reach failure of every muscle. Try to run at least 3 times per week. 4- Watch a video on youtube about the flexible diet and follow it Some Tips: - Your meals sould be based on rice, eggs, oat, banana, chicken/meat, olive oil and similar - When u can, prepare your food and take it with u out. - Your goal should be around 2 grams of protein per kg of body weight. 1 g/kg of fat, rest of the calories carbs. - When u go out of diet try to compensate eating less the day after or the day before. - Supplement your body with fish oil, multivitamin and if you are having trouble reaching your protein goal of the day, take whey protein. - Drink 3-6 liters of water per day - Once you take the fat out (cutting phase), start the bulking phase.
