"match and map point"

do you guys also think that it should be "map and match point" not "match and map point". if you say match point, they obviously have map point. the other way around though it's not necessarily match point when it's map point.

Yeah, but I don't think it's a big deal. "Map" and "match" sound somewhat similar, so maybe it ain't intentional. But I do agree with you, this way it makes more sense.

Do you think that month should be before day? 12/15/2014 to me looks stupid, but some people put it this way still...

Day before month to me seems more logical, since it's from the smaller time scale to the larger. But is there a way to justify it the other way around?

I really hope so. I just love thrashing these stupid conventions. And don't even get me started on the retarded units...

when I see a date I like to see the month first, months are more relevant than individual days but more specific than a year, it is in 'order of importance' I believe

I can see your point, but that really much depends on the context. Months can usually be easily memorized because there are a lot of images that can be related to them, so it's not just about remembering a number, but the number of the day is a much more abstract concept so it's hard to memorize (also there's more numbers to choose from).

First days come one after another, then months, then years. Putting months before days is the same as putting hours before minutes and minutes before seconds.

That's exactly what I mean. I have not heard reasoning for the other way around, but even then I strongly suspect this is the best logic to use here.

When they got match point, its not map point, but when they got map point in match point its not only map point, then its map and match point or match and map point No problemka

"When they got match point, it's not map point" Are you saying you can win a series without winning the map? You won't win the match if you don't close out the last map, you first win the map in order to win the series, not the other way around, so technically speaking it's more correct to say "map and match point" because the latter is the consequence of the former.

Not many people notice that but in theory what you said is right.
