most people think that estonians, as formerly being part of soviet union, know russian language. The most of the newer generation (born after 1990) dont speak at all or dont speak alot of russian. Either because ist not a every day language or its not something they have been learning at school. Most of the currently teenagers (around 2000 born and later) dont learn russian language at all, as they prefere to learn english or some else (french, german, finnish, swedish....) at school. But that all depents on the school, part of the country and personal preference.
