I was a fan of TellTale story games, so I picked it up. I understand it's more affixed to the female-demographic audience, but I enjoyed the game all the same. :)
I don't mind story games when they are done right, as sometimes it becomes more "interactive" than "story" and it's hard to find a truly dynamic synergy between the two; that for some reason only TellTale can pull off flawlessly. David Cage games of Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls and Until Dawn were awful in terms of gameplay, but had great story. Life is Strange captivated me on the story level and the gameplay wasn't terrible either.
A unique game that can really only be enjoyed the first time, but I see it like an interactive movie than a game anyway, so the first time goal is the ultimatum in the long run, I suppose.
