Virtus.pro dead Brazilians no longer passionate Fnatic shell of their former self NIP now replacing thirds instead of just fifths French can no longer bounce back from shuffles s1mple not in godmode anymore (still great tho) Liquid and mouz are teams that have oscillating performances that provide little excitement and lots of disappointment, can you ever even really be a fan of them? Unless you like "teams" that were bought (not brought) like FaZe or boring Danish teams then there is nothing to be excited about. This is the worst timeline.

This isn't bait, s1mple is amazing right now, but watching him isnt as exciting, he's getting multikills and entryfrags and doing alot for his team, but at the beginning of the year he was outawping device with a deagle, he was doing crazy flicks, he was getting double entry kills and and then clutching out 1v2s. Before he looked unkillable is all I'm saying. Now he doesn't blow my mind like he used to. Now it's like when olofmeister was #1, where he was just a really sick player.

s1mple obviously, but I'm saying s1mple right now is not as good as s1mple in Spring. Spring s1mple was godmode, this s1mple is just the best player in the world. I know this doesnt make sense, it's hard to explain. It's just that s1mple is such an amazing player that even when he's not in his best form he's still the best player in the world.
2018-07-13 00:48
agree also you shouldve mentioned c9, they destroyed themselves for nothing
2018-07-13 00:23
+1 So fucking dumb, win a major (First in NA history), split up, and then la pista resistance? They take FNS. Many of these changes boggle my fucking mind but I always think, maybe the org knows what theyre doing...
2018-07-13 00:34
Why do you think C9 was like a super good team?Yes they won the major, but that was a fluke, they were struggling s lot at the end, remember when they got beaten by a tier 8 totally unkown BR team in a bo3 at WESG? They were nowhere near a major winning team level after Eleague
2018-07-13 00:43
they were a solid tier1 team yes they failed at wesg, but even before the major they were always a scary opponent, that wasnt a fluke lol, team with chemistry > faze, any day, SK proved that 100% times, astralis proving now, c9 proved that at major tarik, rush, stewie, autimatic, all insane consistent fraggers back then, for me they were the only roster with no weak link (unless ska has a terrible day)
2018-07-13 00:50
Fliuke isnt a good word, one off is what i mean. The thing is that they werent so bad if we dont look at context. They had ok results(except wesg) but after the major the expectations risen massively.Everyone expected and wanted them to be the new best team as a major winning team should be.And they failed to do that.People didnt look at them like they did before eleague,as a decent team that has good potential as an underdog team.People wanted them to be the next #1 team, but that didnt happen. WESG was the breaking point, and i dont think they would've been able to be the major winning C9 after that, even if they would've stayed together.
2018-07-13 01:08
Winning a major isnt a fluke, ever, anyone who says so is fucking delusional. Also, they were a top ten team in the world, you can say differently if you want but you would be wrong. Question though. Where in the hell did I say they were a super good team in my post. I'll hang out while you proof read.
2018-07-13 00:49
Well,i've checked the definition of fluke just for you and seems like i thought it means something else. One off a better world. What i want to say is that they couldnt replicate a result even close to that after. You didnt say it directly but you only talked about the major win which would lead one to think they were good but in fsct they dropped off msssively towards the end
2018-07-13 00:59
Ahh, yes a one hit wonder is actually pretty accurate. I meant they won a major, which shows theyre coming together and playing true top tier CS, and then fucking break up. It just doesnt make sense.
2018-07-13 01:02
Its almost like saying VP shouldnt have break up after 1.5 years of bad results because they won a lot back then.(but its a bit exaggeration) The rest of my point is #34 basicly
2018-07-13 01:13
If cloud9 knew what they were doing they would have kept stewie, kicked skadoodle and took in mixwell.
2018-07-13 00:44
That wouldve been sick if mixwell wouldve been willing to come to NA.
2018-07-13 00:50
enough money would probably have been enough to convince him.
2018-07-13 00:54
Why do that when he can get paid incredibly well for an EU team close to home?
2018-07-13 00:57
well i guess nobody can explain that as a viewer i feel so depressed looking at the scene right now.. i mean those international lineups.. its fine for europe since their countries are small and it can be hard for them to create a good team with the same nationality, but seeing teams like SK following that shit, or c9 bringing in european players, just so sad, i feel like their motivation is so low now, because theres literally no chemistry in those teams, and it makes games so less exciting, they take it as a job now and thats why the scene is dying im just dreaming that 1 day mibr will go full br, C9 will go full NA, Liquid will go full NA, etc, rn it just removes the spirit from the team imo
2018-07-13 00:47
I can understand that. Back in the day squads stayed together for years, its hard to maintain loyalty and therefor have more excitement for the game if you cant get behind a team and just want to see frags. Makes sense to me
2018-07-13 00:52
yeah but you cant deny the fact that always 5 players of same culture > 5 players of different cultures (same skill) (sk x faze, astralis x faze, etc) i just feel there always will be a cap for this team, they wont ever get to their full full potential, thats why i feel like its just a waste of time for most of the teams, of course it can work for some, but the very best team, will never consist of 5 players from different cultures
2018-07-13 00:57
Im agreeing with you, I just dont think im doing a good job of it.
2018-07-13 00:58
what is this means "la pista resistance"
2018-07-13 00:51
The main course of a meal. Its used as slang though. Kind of like saying, "and to top it all off". I spelled it phonetically because I'm American and cant possibly spell French words.

Yeah I forgot to mention c9. I used to be a big c9 fan since 2015, every game by c9 I watched, every match I was attached to. When they played FaZe I was there through it all and felt a multitude of emotions all the way up until Skadoodle took the very last shot. Since they brought in FNS I haven't watched a single c9 game.
2018-07-13 00:51
Yeah man, kind of to the main posters point. Its hard to stay behind a team/org when they change players so fucking much.

Yeah, its pretty sad to see these all time great teams being garbage But you csnt stay on the top forever i guess, every team is going to fall off inevitably at some point
2018-07-13 00:40
Dignitas/TSM/Astralis has always been consistent. Na'Vi has managed to stay relevant with Guardian and s1mple, past their slumps. I have yet to see FaZe really fall off since acquiring Guardian and Olofmeister. Have a depressing day! -VeryDepressingGuy

After summer every roster hopefully will be complete and we will see how good of a scene we have at the Faceit Major. With all due respect I think you might be a bit tilted C9 just lost tarik (im disappointed to) but don't let that move part ways from this great competition.
