well there is plenty of old dead industrial small towns that i would classify as extremely depressing but then again i would prefer to live in them rather than Malmö
any city as long as gypsies are there
Detriot, Chicago,L.A , or NYC
I tinkywinky that it is Rinkeby, when you go in there you get veri depresso cause you see what Sweden has become :C
Detroit honestly so depressing it used to be an amazing city
Istanbul, everybody is worker there, but like robots boring af
Rio de Janeiro
The one I live in during winter times, seriously
If you take a walk in November at 7pm the city will be dead and nothing but wind and cold will roam the empty streets ... hate it
disgusting 3rd world city 90% turks or arabs
rains up to 23/31 days a month in the winter. a ton of overcast days. high suicide rates.
(they got legal marijuana now so maybe this will change lol)
Las Vegas, has one of the highest suicide rates in the country, prostitution is legal, drugs are out of control, people lose life saving gambling, a ton of low life crime and bad choices all in one city. the city of sin. the city of suicide...
• Suicide is the second-leading cause of death for Nevadans ages 15-24.
• More Nevadans die via suicide than from homicide, HIV/AIDS or car crashes.
Industry and nice architecture, but thays about it..
Lifeless 250k city
Rio de janeiro. Eternal favelas war. It has killed more innocents then 2nd war. São Paulo is not far either.
Detroit and Chicago honestly
Lodz, only bad people here and high crime rate
I support this thread.
Have a depressing day!
Maybe all Lithuania expect five big cities.
I lived in multiple countries so I can attest to multiple shitholes
Most, CZ ( google Chanov )
Zenica, BiH ( the whole town smells like shit )
not a city but very West side of my country, rainy all days.
hong kong, fun to visit/travel but living there sucks but I guess it still depends if you're in the country side or not
My city is like the greatest city in the summer but the worst city in the world in the winter. Its Lysekil.
Marseille, Tourcoing, Saint-Denis.
newcastle in england, where i live, its horrible tbh
Any city in Louisiana, by far the worst state in the U.S I would hate to live there.
Full of braindead fucks and low educated retards
most depressing? problably something like duisburg.
hum, I would say probably Ourém
quebec city, its the next worse thing to actually being in France
São paulo -> work, work, building, work, traffic, study, study, traffic, buildings ...
Hannover, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Dortmund, Duisburg, Bielefeld, Leverkusen, Bochum
Detriot, Compton, Chicago, and Oakland.
In Scotland it's Aberdeen all the moneys gone since it is the oil capital of Europe, dirty, little to do and a council who don't give to shits about people cause they are SNP and they know people will vote for them no matter what also almost the entire city is made of grey granite giving it a full and gloomy look
messi birthplace but right now is the biggest shithole in the country
Whole Upper Silesian metropolitan area. Where the russian communism and Germany meets... Imagine cube soviet living blocks next to 100 years old, german, red brick buildings everywhere. Pollution at winter worse than in Beijing, no visible sun for 3/5 of year due to smog, et cetera.
Melbourne. Absolute clown fest of a city.
Probably Christchurch, full of old white people and got fucked by an earthquake that they havent really recovered from
mecca and paris
PS: they both almost looks same anyway nowadays
Rotterdam. Germans knew it as well and tried to destroy it, but there is a reason why we call them 'kakkerlakken'.
the whole country is depressing
In Denmark we have a city called "Sæd".
In English "Sæd" means "Sperm".
To many to list. Democrats have run all of our major cities into the ground. Drugs/crime/homeless/illegals. Some parts are like 3rd world countries and all have beeen run by liberals for past 50years.
Little place called Bridgewater.
Any place with too much people or all cost so much.
I say Helsinki.
When im there i usually just want back home soon.
It's where all the politicians live (need I say more). And the whole city looks like a Soviet style alien colony. You see few people outside, and we have a stereotype of being the coldest Brazilians.
Parramatta, full of indians
Whole Siberia i think cuz always cold and bad connection to EU.
But you can play with chinese guys its nice
Christiania not a town or city but an area in Copenhagen. It's depressing cuz of the weed in there.
South stockholm (red metro line)
luhansk and donetsk (or any small village)
Le Havre, Saint Denis, Clermont Ferrand, Pau, Sarcelles
russia: every city that has less than 300k ppl in it
belarus: it's pretty beautiful
in sweden its malmo for sure so many fucking immigrants and its overall chaos there
istanbul :) i wish somebody will nuke us one day
Flint, Michigan, USA
The whole of Bangladesh is pretty much depressing lmao
easily gelsenkirchen just google it
Juiz de Fora
This place is a dirty shithole, a leftover city that grew when we still had industries, and is now a shell of a urban project filled with beggars, alcoholics/drug addicts and stupid teenagers from small towns that came here due to the uni that we have here. I moved here like 7 months ago from Santos (also not a top class place, but i still love that shithole nonetheless) and boy, do I regret it. I'm eager to move back to São Paulo state tbh. It's a piece of shit, but it's MY piece of shit, ya nah?
Now, the true depressing places in Brazil are the tiny countryside towns and villages, in which access to quality services, jobs, decent infrastructure and opportunities is almost impossible, and if you don't have a "Juiz de Fora" near your place, you're bound there forever. I know that because I'm one of these stupid countryside boys I've mentioned before. That, my friend, is the true definition of a depressing place in Brazil.
West Bromich hahahahahahahaahahaha
Narva and Kohtla-Järve fucking full of russians , they fucking live in estonia for 20 years and still dont even know single word , if u go to a shop in narva u have to fucking speak in russian so that they understand, just a shithole.
eeh, yea, its easier to write not depressing cities: Kiev, Lvov. xd
Lahti ofc.... nothing going on and full of crackheads
probably geneva, because of the crime rate (all the ''french'' people coming over the border to steal)
Surprised noone said Lisbon. Hands down the worst city to live in on this country. It´s a good tourist place for like 5 days but having lived there for 5 years I have an absolute hatred for the city.
1- Non stop traffic. Doesnt matter if its 8 am or 3 pm to make 2 km on your car it will probably be 1 hour.
2- Most of it is dirty, poorly taken care of. Also "Urban Art" is the worst excuse ever for laziness and lack of money to clean the walls. I dont think a graffiti saying "O João e a Camila tiveram relações aqui" is "Urban Art"
3- Public transports are overcrowded dirty and outdated.
4- Its expensive cant buy a house unless you make six figure salary anually. Cant eat at any restaurant.
Has the potential to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe but has the same problems as New York, while also not having the qualities of that city
London aka Terrorist central
Probably Oslo or Stavanger
Whole Ukraine and Romania
doncaster, soon as the mines went it turned into a shithole
Grimsby, its literally got grim in the name
Kouvola, looks like cache
Norilsk is proper dogshit
My country is maybe small, but it has great cities
lisbon most depressing, ALGARVE most relaxing aka best place in the world
probably porto alegre or são paulo, grey everywhere and cold.
Don't really know, but i live in Saint-Petersburg, where weather often cloudy or rainy. Combined with overall architecture of city makes it look depressing.
Malmö is full of rapists
But really the most depressing has got to be Flen. It's run down after immense amounts of immigration. It's ugly. Buildings look like they're from the fucking Soviet union
Some districts in vienna really suck...
You see those provinces on the map of Canada labelled Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut
Well I tend not to go there
niagara falls ny
At least in Detroit things are looking up and downtown is nice
My town LUL
Muricia (spanish area 51) or cañada real (favela area)
I aren't think a city can be depressing.
Idk but at one school there was like 3 suicides in a year (out of ~1500 people)
A lot of poor areas, crime, and drug abuse
It's probably not worst but it's awful
Shymkent bcs of a lot cattle and crazy people
Not my country, but for the most depressive region on Earth I've ever been to has to be (northern) Netherlands, northern Germany and southern Denmark. Most boring, dirty, depressing region I've ever been to.
ACT / Canberra
nothing to do there, only reason why its the capital is cos melb and syd had a dispute in the time of crowning the capital. IMO it should be in sydney or melbourne
Lithuania awesome country. No bad cities here.
