Why would you learn it ? The country is so small you probably wont meet a single dutch person in your entire life , learn useful languages, spanish, portuguese, chinese, etc
Go for Spanish or French. It will help you more. Especially since most of the people form the Netherlands know English quite well. I have been living in the Netherlands for one year now and 95% of the people I encounter have no problem with communicating in English.
Dutch is pretty hard. The basics aren't but our grammar is quite odd and has a bunch of strange exceptions.
A lot of our words are relatable to other languages though, so that could help you a bit if you know other languages than English.
Working here without knowing the language is possible, but that won't get you in high functions usually. Completely depends on the kind of job you're looking for to be honest.
Well it is pretty hard. It has lots of weird rules, and foreigners mostly have a hard time learning it. Would not recommend, everyone in the Netherlands speaks English.
Some dutch people still struggle
It is pretty hard. It just doesn't add up to the english grammar and vocabulary.
I'm Dutch, and for an native English speaker it's been proven to be a hard task. For Norwegian/Swedish/German/Swiss and even French it's doable, as a lot of words origin from these country's or have the same slang.
It's easy to learn but pronunciation is hard for foreigners.
One of the easiest languages to learn if you speak english;
If you're already familiar with german, it'll be easy since it's basically german with downsyndrome. If you think german is hard, i wouldn't even bother learning dutch

The Dutch language is renowned as one of the more difficult ones out there and there are many who would agree to this. Dutch has many similarities with English, which should help learning it more straightforward.

Dutch is : Rules, Exception, Exception , Exception , Exception gl
It's hard, our grammas has weird rules and exceptions. If you're going to live here, than learn it. If not than you're fine with english. Almost everyone around here speaks english decently.

dont learn dutch is all i can tell you
Theres a multitude of people living here that came from foreign countries and speak very well dutch over the years.
Pronounciation is hardest I would say. And people telling you grammar is so hard blablabla is funny, cause u won't use 90% of it anyway after highschool, rofl.
If u want it then go for it. I'd say u can be very decent with a fulltime course of around 20 weeks.
Dutch is kind of similar in some ways to English, but it can be pretty tough to learn considering we have a lot of rules and even more exceptions on those rules.
-Hard to pronounce for non natives
-Confusing word order
-A lot of Irregular forms / exceptions to learn
These are only some of the troubles you can have while learning Dutch. I'd say it's one of the harder languages to learn.
