liking your job in 2018 OMEGALUL
$9/h fronting shelves at a supermarket. It's boring and I hate it. The hours suck, and it is tedious. I was a stocker, but they hired additional people and moved me to fronting. I thought it was a temporary thing (because I suck at it), but I've been doing it for close to three months now, at 30-ish hours a week. The other guy they have to front only shows up every 2 of 3 shifts, but they still keep him (which tells you how low we are on staff at the moment). If they hire another guy to front, maybe they will drop me down to 15-20 hours a week (which is what I want, I don't even spend the money, it is just a more constructive use of my time than being at home), and then I probably wouldn't it hate it as much. But it's been almost two months since I asked for a reduction in hours and they still haven't hired anyone to help. It might be because the management has been going through health issues, which is understandable, but it still sucks... depending on many credits I take this upcoming semester, I might just quit to focus on school.
