Of course it's banter but it's quite clear that not a lot of people go with it. Very noticeably he sometimes goes a bit far to a point where the corresponding user doesn't flow with it and ends up taking it in the wrong way and honestly I can't blame. Obviously I can't prove this but it's what I can read out of those tweets.
way easier to get those stats as lurk superstar who has all the freedom in the world than carry awp of tier 2 team
niko is a much better player overall but smooya is the better awp player overall.
AWP exclusively NiKo doesn't top smooya as much as you dislike the kid. I really like NiKo myself but the AWP isn't one of his strengths. He does good with it on the B site of Inferno and on the A site of Dust 2. Occasional awper. Smooya is much more flexible in that sense and that's key. You can't consider yourself a great ass awper per se if your use of it is situational.
Well players do play one spot usually... so...
Point being, smooya has been rekting everyone in tier 9999 cs, in top tier cs he's not that good, now.. he is good but he's nowhere near the star level which he was before(where niko is on that level and he did show it through the years)
I think smooya has potential that he hasn't fully shown yet. As a player he's young and growing but I have to agree that he can't be put on the same level as any other awper from the top 5 teams. He's nowhere near the level of NiKo as an all-round player now but I don't know if NiKo was far beyond the level of Smooya when NiKo was equally 18. We'll see how his growth pans out...
he's not that good? 3rd best player of a team that reached the final in a tier 1 event. his first ever t1 event, first ever matches in front of a crowd.
you compare him now to niko, who aleady reached superstar level. of course niko is the more seasoned pro and better player overall but not because of his awp.
You don't seem to understand that it doesn't matter dude. Its not about who hits the most insane and entertaining awp hits... Its about impact frags + consistency.
Tabsen is not the main awper in the team but was far more impactful and consistent than Smooya, who missed the easiest shots in Cologne. Smooya got carried by everyone. Deal with it.
smooya was the impact awp of big. i don't like the guy and don't think he'll ever be a special player but you can't deny he impressed and was a really important factor for big. so many clutches, won so many duels vs top awps, that's impact. not holding an angle vs eco rush on ct.
there's a difference in like joking around being slightly insulting, than compared to some of the British stuff, just imagine how smooya acts and what he says, is filtered for friendly audiences LOL, we're actually horrible humans tbh with you :p
