TY.

Well if you want for CSGO you might want a better CPU as cs is a CPU demanding game, I would also reccomend getting the 6GB 1060

I want to be able to play other games too and i want this pc to last at least 4 years

cpu is op for csgo
2018-07-21 22:16
My eyes are bleeding
2018-07-21 22:51
you dont need a 6 gb card unless you want to run with 3+ monitors.
2018-07-22 02:09
+1 on the 6gb 1060 but you do NOT need a better cpu. i have the 8400 and i get 260-300+ fps on all maps on 1080p max settings. with the settings that most people play on, it is enough.
2018-07-22 02:16
My eyes... that i5 is more than enough for CSGO, it has 6 cores
2018-07-22 12:32
fuck OFF with your 1IQ ADVICE
2018-07-22 12:49
i get 250-400 fps with an i5 8400 if u over clock your 8600 u can get 400-500 fps lol it's good not only for cs but for other games too i would recommend getting a 1060 6gb and u are set u will be able to play pretty much any game that's out rn
2018-07-21 22:01
If i go for that 1060 6 gb, i will be overextending my budget, is there any other spec in this build i can switch to get that?
2018-07-21 22:03
u could remove your ssd and buy it later because gpu and cpu are the most expensive and most crucial to a build
2018-07-21 22:04
This might be weird, but have you thought about getting an AMD equivalent? They're normally cheaper
2018-07-21 22:04
What would be the amd equivalente and does it worth it?
2018-07-21 22:06
Well I've never had a AMD GPU, but I can tell you that the only AMD CPU thats worth is ryzen but thats cpu, the equivalent is the rx 580, idk how they are but might be worth looking into
2018-07-21 22:07
AMD is good but i guess people that don't build their pcs very often are too scared to experiment with their parts which is understandable im not sure if this is the case with this guy
2018-07-21 22:07
AMD Cpu's are normally bad, other than ryzens, heard they were really good.
2018-07-21 22:09
i dont have any experience with them but people are praising them and in all budget builds they are using amd parts
2018-07-21 22:10
My old PC was AMD cpu and it's horrible, overheating being loud and just not good, but idk bout ryzens, I've heard they're like 100x better than old AMD
2018-07-21 22:14
yeah im talking about ryzens not old cpus but as long as graphics card goes im not sure they are better than nvidia i would consider getting an amd cpu but i wouldn't get an amd graphic card i just don't feel safe i don't like it's control panel
2018-07-21 22:17
I wouldn't either, but sometimes its the way to go with a small budget.

at one time, AMD was way ahead of Intel, then a time followed where Intel dominated the market Now, Ryzen and Coffee Lake have very similar sales. Performance-wise, Intel is still better in games, while AMD is faster in heavy work tasks.
2018-07-22 02:17
Yeah agreed
2018-07-22 11:53
in that case get a cheaper motherboard, get the i5 8400 and then youll easily have enough money to upgrade the 1060. edit: also do NOT get that ram!! SO-DIMM memory is for laptops, not PC!
2018-07-22 02:17
Ty i already switched the ram
2018-07-22 02:18
That memory is SO-DIMM and I'm pretty sure it's laptop memory. Normal memory is ddr4

It's true that laptop memory is SO DIMM, but wtf is that: "Normal memory is ddr4" that makes no sense lol
2018-07-22 02:19
go get a better cpu cooler the intel will really get hot especially when overclocking like a Thermalright HR02 Macho Rev. B
2018-07-21 22:04
i5 8600k - shit You can buy ryzen 7 1700 for this price and it's 8cores/16threads x370 mobo is AM4 socket for amd cpus SO-DIMM RAM? It's for notebooks. Only one piece of ram = single channel = shit recommend you to buy samsung ssd with mlc memory can't say anything about this cooler noname shitty psu, choose something decent like thermaltake tr2 s, thermaltake smart, chieftec proton etc (but not aerocool VX/KCAS haha) u can also spend some more money on supergood psu from seasonic/be quiet 1060 3gb is also piece of shit because 3gb of vram is not enough even now, especially OC version cuz u can OC every gpu by yourself If u can't afford 1060 6gb/rx580 you can buy rx 570 4/8 gb ask me anything about ur pc build, i'll try to help
2018-07-21 22:07
Is the i5 8600k that bad i looked at some reviews and it seemed really althought it was way more expensive than the matching ryzen
2018-07-21 22:11
8600k is not bad CPU, but for example it costs 210 euro on computeruniverse and r7 1700 costs 195 euro.
2018-07-21 22:13
Nice Im really considering switching this one ty
2018-07-21 22:19
if u want to OC your cpu i recommend you to buy at least msi b350 gaming pro carbon because it has doubled power phases and if u don't care about visual part of your ram buy 2x8/2x4 samsung ddr4 2400 mhz u can oc them ezly
2018-07-21 22:22
Thanks. I really dont care for the looking i just need a good pc for the cheapest possible.
2018-07-21 22:30
In the site im looking for there is na msi b350 gaming pro carbon and msi b360 gaming pro carbon for 4 more euros, is there any difference bettwen those 2?
2018-07-21 22:32
b360 is for intel CPU's and there's no overclock on them
2018-07-21 22:33
What s the difference between ryzen 1700 and 1700 x?
2018-07-22 13:09
a bit more base frequency. Literally overprice, that's like OC versions of gpus

lol the 8600k is much better than the 1700 in gaming , if he is planing to do workstations tasks he should go with the 2600x and not 1700 since he is planing on gaming too
2018-07-22 12:04
"if he is planing to do workstations tasks he should go with the 2600x and not 1700 since he is planing on gaming too" choosing 6 cores instead of 8 gigalul r7 is a bit worse than 8600k OCed to 4.5+ ghz, but don't forget that u need a decent mobo and cooling to OC it like that and also some more money wait a bit for ps5 when it comes out games will use all power of multithreaded cpus

less cores with more ghz>more cores less ghz . for gaming if he will be using this pc for editing\compression,streaming\etc only he should go with 1700 but he will probably use this pc for gaming so he should go with the 2600x bcz its gaming performance is much better then the 1700 + it has good amount of cores for some tasks other than gaming
2018-07-22 12:29
The 2700x is way more expensive
2018-07-22 12:39
"less cores with more ghz>more cores less ghz" only on cheap shitty mobo with low amount of power phases => vrm overheat stop talking that 6/12 cpu is better than 8/16 especially in one architecture don't be retarded

2018-07-22 14:44

0/8 For gaming ONLY the 8600k is much better than 1700 and 2600x , I picked 2600x because it has xfr2 , 2600x instead of the 1700 because it has better GAMING performance while still providing good workstation performance. YES , 1700 has 8 cores , but it causes it to have worse gaming performance in compare to 2600x. For overclocking them he will need to buy good cooling and good mobo which is a waste when you can just buy a locked intel cpu and still have better performance in GAMING. Why not buy a server cpu like xeon with +10 cores ? Because its GAMING performance is SHIT
2018-07-22 14:54
-8/8 you can still play on 10 cored xeon, fps will be lower than for example 6-cored CPUs fps because games can't use so much threads right now, but in the future 6-cored cpu will suck a dick and your xeon will be a decent gaming cpu I remember how some retards said that i3 was better than fx 8300 back in 2012 xD

Tell me in how much time will games start using more than 1-3 cores? By then his ryzen hardware would be outdated. You still don't understand that more cores cause less gaming performance ah? IF this computer purpose is for workstation then it makes sense to go with more cores but the pc is probably for gaming . 8600>1700(gaming) evidence : youtube.com/watch?v=8GmUXw3f6Xc 2600>1700(gaming) evidence : youtube.com/watch?v=kwMVTJ52UG0 Hold this L
2018-07-22 15:16
"Tell me in how much time will games start using more than 1-3 cores?" games are using at least 8 threads right now, most optimized - about 16 threads. What are u talking about?

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT USE AMD FOR GAMING. I currently have two PCS The one that I'm using right now is rocking an I7-6700K (Obviously overclocked) and the other PC has an AMD Ryzen 2700x (Also overclocked). The FPS difference is between 50-75 and the I7 is really overpowering the AMD CPU, both PCS have pretty much identical specs except the Ryzen pc has 32 gigs more ram Please trust me I'm banned on HLTV and I came all the way through TOR just to write this message and warn you about AMD

In gpu intense games its a problem, card gets noisy, clocks go down and card runs hotter. If u need a small gpu, get zotac 1060, else get evga with the double fan/gigabyte

You should change very fast because you will lose money. Your configuration is not possible . MSI X370 is made to support AMD Ryzen, AMD A series and latest versions of AMD Athlon. And you want an Intel processor. Intel processor requires intel socket, so you need a Motherboard dedicated to Intel. The Power Supply Unit and the RAMs you took tell me you will not overclock. Don't get overclocking parts if you aren't going to overclock, K Series underperform if it's not done.
2018-07-22 02:05
I want to overclock, those 2 specs dont eork?
2018-07-22 02:08
x370 is not intel chipset, if you wanna overclock, get z370
2018-07-22 02:18
Ok ty and what about the powe suplly?
2018-07-22 02:23
power supply is by cougar, a well known company and it looks good everything here looks good, only thing I would personally do is change to 16 gb of ram but thats just me
2018-07-22 02:25
Rn i dont have that budget but latter on i may upgrade it.

You can do a light OC but remind oversized unit can easily power undersized system, but not the other way around, so it’s best to aim high and overshoot. Oversize power supplies can also be useful down the road if you plan to upgrade your system, as they can avoid the need to purchase a newer, larger unit. I suggest you to buy a shitty low cost PSU for now (or stay with your old one) and change later For a Tier 1PSU. I see that you have chosen a nice case with a glass. You will need a modular power supply if you want it does not look like a mess inside. And remember for the motherboard, X370 = AMD / Z370 = Intel
2018-07-22 02:48
Don't buy the i5 8600K i5 9600k Is rumored to come out 1st of august
2018-07-22 02:07
I think it will be overpriced, althought it will make this cpu drop in price
2018-07-22 02:09
Doesn't work like that, unless you are buying 2nd hand stuff. Prices remain pretty much the same even with the older generations. MSRP of the i5 9600k wil be the same as the i5 8600k, only difference is that the mobo's might be more expensive. But imo worth the extra

There is not much difference between the 8600 and 8400 in gaming... He will see a huge difference between a 1060 and a 1070 but a small difference between 8400 and 8600, so what do you think is the more logical choice?

Buy 1066 + i3 8100 you dont need that processor
2018-07-22 12:45
Just a little problem with this build my friend, ram speed is kinda low, especially for high fps on csgo or fortnite you need higher ram speed...I would recommend at least 4000mhz ddr4 ram since prices are not that high...Overclock the Cpu to 5GHz and your good to go...
2018-07-22 12:48
Really? I know shit about this but from waht i ve seen ram speed doesnt really matter
2018-07-22 12:56
most motherboard don't support more 3600mhz and the best speed to buy where you see a difference is ,no more than, 3600. however 2666 is still good
2018-07-22 13:32
Is the radeon rx580 oc 8gb good? its cheaper...
