Easiest way to quit smoking is to gradually lower cigarettes you smoke. Do it on a weekly basis, ie. if you smoke a pack a day (20 cigs) lower it to 15 (if you can, if it's much, then to 17) and stick with 15 (17) for a whole week (count). Then next week, reduce to 10 (14 or less, if you can) and do it for a whole week. Then 5, etc... until you quit. The trick is that your body got used to a certain amount of a nicotine per day. If you leave it suddenly, the body is in constant need of a nicotine, which can even lead to a nicotine shock. When you reduce gradually, you still have nicotine in your body, but body will get used to less and less nicotine per day, and when you quit, it won't be that much of a shock, because you reduced it to very low amount.
