I had the exact problem you‘re describing with really good and new specs (they were like 4-5 months old). I formated my computer 3 times, tried every step which you‘ve already tried, like checking steam folders, start options, etc etc I have never changed anything. The problem started after a CSGO update. Turning this xbox app off on Win10 made it slightly better but still unplayable. What helped me was buying a new computer unfortunately...

I don‘t really play any other games next to CS and as I told you, I‘ve tried everything. Even went to some1 who fixes computers and checks them. Valve just sucks ass releasing updates which make trouble or are buggy.

Have you tried disabling the "full screen optimization" by going into your csgo folder, right clicking csgo.exe (not a shortcut but the one in you steam folders), going in to "properties" and under the "compatibility" tab checking a box that says to "Disable fullscreen optimizations". Other than that I'd have no idea but gl to finding out.

Do you have more than 1 hard drive, what hard drive is csgo installed on? Install it on your primary drive, pref a SSD. This solved my stutter lag problem. If you have it installed on a secondary drive to save space on your main, this is why you have it.

This same thing happened to me for the first day I got my 144hz monitor. I put my textures and settings to the very lowest and then after playing with it for a little I quit out of cs, came back, and changed settings back to high and it was fixed. Also if you are getting lower than 144fps or it jumps to lower at any time u will get a short freeze.

Oh, and also check to make sure you dont have applications in the backround. Go to your task manager and make sure ur disk % is as low as possible and that your memory is being taken up by csgo only for the most part. If your memory or disk is like 99% thats whats causing ur problem.

2018-08-13 09:52
the problem is caused by your HDD (if you have hdd and not SSD) try to defrag it entierely (especially the folder where csgo and steam is located) if this doesn't work try to get an SSD. EDIT : i just saw you have an SSD, sorry

I'm pretty sure the problem is with the ram... Do you have 1x16gb or 2x8gb? If 2x8 try to remove one and try only one at the time to see if one is bad or something.

Didnt have your exact problem but once (not only csgo my whole pc) had small stutters where my SSD usage would go down to 0. Maybe its the drive you have CSGO on. Try installing it on your SSD and see what happens. Edit: i had windows on my ssd + CSGO.

do net_graph and see if your fps is jumping ingame or if your ping is jumping there. If its your ping jumping around then its your internet thats the problem. If your FPS keeps jumping then just do fps_max "#" in either your launch options or in console while your playing check your launch options you have and remove those to see if that is causing an issue aswell other than that idk

Start pc with only keyboard, mouse connected. Does the problem still exist? Sometimes stupidest things fix the issue, take out ram and make sure you are using recommended slot. Uninstall graphic drivers with DDU, install older driver. Make sure rest drivers are up to date. Test SSD, RAM. Stress test CPU

Firstly, verify the integrity of the archives of CSGO. Now, try this: - Open your task manager and click on the session where you see the programs the initialize with Windows. Disable all unnecessary programs. - Completely unninstall your antivirus program (just for testing). Reboot you PC. - Open your task manager, search for the program called Superfetch and delete the task. - Press "Windows + R", type "services.msc", search for Superfetch, right-click and stop it. - Open again the task manager and see if there's a program using 100% of the disc now, if there is, delete the task. Without rebooting your PC, open csgo and test it for about 10 minutes and see if the problem is still happenning. I hope this fixes your problem.

bro i tried this already :(
2018-08-13 17:48
From what I've read till now, I really think the problem is in your hardware. I would sugest you to clean your memory sticks with a white eraser, if your haven't done it yet.

bro the pc is brand new , i had the problem since day 1 , so ive been searching for fix since literally 5 months now.
2018-08-13 21:23
This makes my thesis more reliable, it's normal to have a brand new PC with some memory sticks with problem or another. You should stress your PC (including RAM) and see how it hehaves itself.

Well, the only obvious reason for troubles is overclocked ram. Do you have some friend with DDR4-3000 ? Maybe he could temporary give you one for a test?

my motherboard supports til 2400mhz as max , so i have to overclock my ram to 3000mhz to make it run with its original power , but i still had the problem even before overclocking the rams , so not its not the problem imo

check your cpu temperature. could be your cooler overheating the cpu. Edit: might be different parts temperatures also is your ram stable. i had bought unlegit ram which did the same in my h1z1 games.

try removing ram cards (if theres multiple) and putting different variations. Then maybe if theres 2 or 3 , leaving 1 or 2 in. Maybe one of them is broken

seems like u just dont want to believe that ram could be the problem because its brand new here is the thing: sell your pc and buy new one since everything that is known just doesnt apply to your case that is sad but seems like its the only thing u can do right know

Try to run the game in windowed fullscreen. Windows will activate some kind of vsync automaticly. Test if it still lags.

Try to put this command on your lanch options -nod3d9ex "All of you who answer need to get your facts right before you spill misinformation all over the place. DirectX 9Ex is an optimized version of DirectX 9 that lets the Dekstop Window Manager in Windows handle the rendering of windowed processes. It should theoretically only give you any FPS boosts or help with tabbing when you are running the game in windowed/fullscreen windowed mode. I can't speak for the practical effects though..." reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/31.. I think it could help u with those freezes, cya!
