csgo because u need 200+ iq and robot aim
2018-08-18 07:28
before getting into this dota shit i ve been watching a lot of csgo and tactically i think dota >>>> csgo because if you re familiar to the game there are too many objectives like bounty runes and towers not mentionning the early game required skills in terms of farming

Mercy is the most "healing" char btw :D And no, Overwatch might not be that popular like cs, but definitely isnt dead. Acutally its a very great and underrated game.
2018-08-18 08:38
i agree that Overwatch is a great game and i feel that it's somehow a mix of cs and dota but cs is only popular because of its history and because of it being one of the games that built esports. but however cs "died" aswell because of the VAC system and because of the battle royale mode taking out all the games out there.

If we talk in general. It would be most likely Dota 2 or League of Legends (however i think Dota 2 needs more skill.) In FPS all you require is good aim and some brain, even the best tactic can be broken by a good aimer. In Dota 2 or League, even the best player (i will use this example on faker), can lose in a good tactical battle. His team ended the season at 7th/10 place. Being good in invidual gameplay does not make you win all games. In Dota 2 and LoL you need to focus on objectives and play around it, you have a lot of tactics to change the tempo of the game. Like swapping, stacking, funneling. In CS:GO all you do is kill and nades are only there to give you more advantage for your potential kill. So i think that in terms of high tactical and in-game skills Dota 2 and League of Legends require both at that level, but in terms of high in-game skills, CS:GO gives you more, because you can actually win the game being very good. tl;dr Dota 2 and LoL require both at high level, still 50/50 CS:GO needs high in-game skill, rewards you for being good

After viewing this thread I just saw a video of AI used to train Dota 2 pros. Absolutely insane to watch all that goes into moba teamplay.

i have actually watched the whole series it was exactly before TI and those "humans" are just casters and analysts and are not actual pros. however the international started recently and tomorrow is groupe stage day 4 so if you Watch it you will witness some sick plays and high tactical intelligence and you won t be disappointed

Will do, thanks!

Tactical gameplay: Tekken 7 Dota League of Legends CSGO kinda?
2018-08-18 08:57
csgo includes some tactical intelligence but i think it s all about team play and individual skills mostly. a great example is NAVI with S1imple carrying the team through big tournament when his teammates Always failed to perform. meanwhile, in dota or lol if you don t have high tactical intelligence you just can't play the game.

Ya. IMO fighter games are heavily underestimated though. Like. I feel like fighting games like Tekken can compete with starcraft because of how hard it is to even play the game at a mediocre level.
2018-08-18 09:19
IMO fighter games are Indeed underrated and super hard to play and they actually require the highest level of concentration and reflexes so you can react to your opponent's super quick attacks which are due to the fast animations. that genre had its time and hype and well what can you say people are playing games like fortnite now.
2018-08-18 09:23
yeah dota is definitely one of the hardest ones overall
