1.6 was a perfect competitive game
A bit to blurry, like it was so dynamic that sometimes you didn't even see an ennemy
the smokes in csgo are much better
Flash grenade being a legit bucket
the only thing i missed was better options to report players
Headshot from behind being broken as fuck because the chest hitbox covers way too much of the back of the head
Map exploits like on dust2
Weapon accuracy bugs for example there's a bug where a single shot after a burst has lower accuracy than normal
Loss money system changing after winning 2 rounds and then losing
Silent running exploit
All the bugs (boost through roofs, bugflashes etc) and smokes.

In hindsight; buying ammo.
When it got removed during some random update in CS:S I really missed it though.
1.6 only good thing is its movement. It's over the top wallbanging is broken as hell. Hurr let's spend 30 seconds shooting through walls at the start - so boring. It's got stupid bugs like silent running, weapon accuracy bugs that make a bullet less accurate after shooting a long burst, hitboxes are bugged etc.
It' only a game that deserves a 6/10 but no way does it deserve its praise.

the movement was really weird compared to cs go. additionally you hadn't many opportunities to customize (crosshair, hud etc.).

Silent running exploit and bad hitboxes.
Game was awesome for it's time. Bugs, silent running, grenades took forever to throw. You also could not rewind the game in a tournament, they spent way too long figuring out what to do in the case there was a dropout ect.
buying ammo,inability to customize crosshair,having to counter strafe if you want to land an accurate awp shot ... and many more i played over 11k hours in that game
I hated the scroll jump crouch bind it horrible that you can alter your hitbox and make people unable to kill you also right after jumping you hardly move all which is really weird
the game was great but source was better
Shooting through walls...
cheaters, smokes, flashbang bug, duckrunning, duckpicking over boxes, grenades (felt good at the time, now you see CSGO it feels like you're throwing 50kg rocks), shields in pug, you had to do everything through IRC nothing in game
behind door explode granade and you can still take damage.
smoke was terrible,you needed 2 smokes to not see trought.
so hard to get one taps, and pistols were so teribble
Hitboxes and netcodes were even worse than in CSGO.
i only didn't like nonsteam players who were hitting crazy shots all the time
