The CTs probably were counter strafing, it just wasn't picked up by the server on at the perfect tick, nothing wrong with this

Im sick and tired of having to explain obvious stuff to oblivious people, so better start readng now: 1. its not about my fucking shooting but about the hitreg, as you can clearly see, I am under 34u/s movement speed for 15 of the 21s of the clip and at least 5 shots were on his body without registering and his model is being teleported on the ground even though I killed him in the air. 2. No obviously it doesnt have anything to do with hitreg, but thats why I called this thread "hitreg/DESYNC". Also theres a pretty big chance that those two issues are symptoms of the same underlying problem. Also why didnt you comment on whats happening at all? 3. You can clearly see that Im NOT moving (cl_showpos top left) at the first 2 shots that I even clearly marked with a fat green circle and of which you can see the impacts behind the head. 4. Its a calculation of the apparent movement speed of the enemy peeking. A model is 32u wide and he needed 6 frames to cross that distance (from not visible to fully visible), the footage is 60fps, meaning his model moved at 32u/[(1/60s)*6]=320u/s (240u/s is max with usp) 5. The issues are even written ON SCREEN. Its about the speed at which he peeks, his feet not moving and me dying before he stopped moving. Also the same movement speed calculation as above is applied, using the fence post as a reference point in the first example. Please give me your honest answer

1 - Your spray pattern is fucking horrible in this clip, and because you were moving in your first few bullets, the pattern is fucked... You were on the left side of his bullets when your bullets were going left (Missing him)... And then you moved over to other side of the body when the bullets were going right of your crosshair (Missing him). There's at max 1 bullet that shouldn't have missed that did, not an issue... The only issue here is that you suck... Stop moving and shooting 2 - January 2018, the time of which the jump crouch bug was a thing, is there any clip that shows who killed you? It might be that a guy used to bug to jump over the wall without you seeing him and got you with a lucky one, don't reply to this unless you actually have a clip... I'm not going to just trust your word on it 3 - The first bullet you fired was when you were moving and you were shooting to fast, where you see the bullet land behind the head, it doesnt actually land there because the server and client were not 100% in sync back in this version of CS, btw don't make me out to be the clueless one when you've put a fucking clip in here that is almost a year old when you're talking about how it's a problem now, there was many fixes on hitboxes since then. 4 - Where's the proof that he was even moving at full speed? He may have been holding an angle a little to the right then decided to peek out, I'm not sure if you've noticed this, but as soon as you hit the strafe key, you're player doesn't move 240u/s instantly... You might just be overlooking it 5 - This is called counter strafing, your weapon can be accurate from like 0-30 u/s (Just a guess, but it certainly doesn't require the player to be stationary). So what if he slides? It's not like he's invincible when he's sliding, just shoot him - I guarentee that you look like this when you're moving at times too, so it's not an unfair advantage... It's an extremely minor problem that valve shouldn't bother working on, and again from half a year ago To summerise, there is literally 0 clips that are in the current version of csgo, and all half a year ago, ever since valve has been doing minor updates to the source engine that may have actually fixed a lot of this, and these clips aren't even problems, none of them are game breaking and you're picking at the game rather than yourself, trust me - This is bad, you're throwing clips out there when you are doing dumb shit like running and shooting and then blaming the game for your silver gameplay

The fuck are you even talking about? You seem like youre just copy pasting what he said without even looking at the clips. Only 2 of the 5 clips are about my shooting in the first place and in the first clip I crouched almost instantly after starting to shoot, the CT is obviously peeking extremely off-angle as I was preaiming towards Ticket plus he is at a distance where recoil control doesnt even make a fucking difference. The other clip (third one) shows me aiming exactly at the head while standing still FOUR TIMES with a pistol, so again no recoil control involved. How on earth do you think you're right when talking bullshit like this?!

Bullets holes / spray patterns that you see in your client are not the same as bullets / spray patterns in server. They are "faked" in the client just for looks. HITS ARE REAL. If you see a hit to another player, that really happened on server. Maybe you just dont know how cs go engine works. You can use console commands to see client spray in blue and server spray in red (or was it other way around). Anyway they are not the same.

Ive talked to a lot of people who all did a LOT of testing and there is not a single hint to what the problem is. But since it can even change mid game and is independant from where you live, its most probably an issue with the game and no hardware/software/network issue. Its hard to test, because youd really need 2 PCs, 2 ISPs and 2 Highspeed cameras I think. At least when we are talking about the moel movement delay / desync whatever.

to get reproducable results you really need such a setup to rule out other factors. And the differences in delays between the players is really only measurable with high speed cameras I think. Its also kind of a gamble because you really dont know what you have to look out for. battlenonsense already did one round of testing like this but found nothing, so I would guess the issues must either be caused by some factor that isnt too common among players.

Please specify which clip youre referring to. Im guessing its the first one. There I crouch after the 2nd or 3rd shot and do crabwalk, you can see by the cl_showpos in the top left that I stay under 35 movement speed for about 66% of the clip. Also not that there are 2-3 shots where my crosshair and recoil where dead on him and you can see no serverside blood sprites but client side blood decals, which tells you that my aim was correct but the shots didnt register on the server.

there will always be some amount of desync. after all youre not playing on lan where the average delay between players is like 5ms. these smaller issues probably will never get fixed since you cannot remove the delay. the more ping you have the worse the hitreg gets. i cant even hit anything properly above 30ping. most of my games i have <=30ms and i dont have hitreg issuesvthat often. except for when the server sucks. i feel like most of these issues originate from server performance and the fact that you dont play on LAN. ever noticed that some mm servers feel utter trash while others feel better than some faceit 128 tick servers?
